Really nice - the Rode sounded like it perhaps had a touch more openness and clarity, but also sounded a little more roomy... on balance I'd say the Xvive wins here. They make some really good stuff: We picked up a couple of their wireless XLR units recently and it's made those acoustic gigs where we're hopping from one place to the next an absolute dream. So convenient :)
