So I stayed home and cooked dinner tonight. Bolognese Sauce mixed in Perciatelli Pasta. Followed the exact recipe and used the pasta she mentioned she usually use instead of the spaghetti. Came out so delicious 🤤
I've made this twice already since I've seen this video!! It's absolutely amazing and my family loves it! We're big pasta eaters I grew up eating Sunday dinners at my grandparents house and spaghetti and meatballs was always served. It's my comfort food ❤️ I wish I could replicate her meatballs because I haven't had them since she passed. There are no others I like lol. Your Bolognese is a new Sunday meal for my family!!!!!
OBSESSED with Birdie’s pasta and can’t wait to make this dish at home! Also loving the knife tips. Will absolutely be trying the onion cutting technique!
To be fair to traditional Bolognese, it can still be a weeknight dish. And faster too. Since it takes at least four hours to cook (excluding prep time etc), you might as well make a huge batch during the weekend, freeze the rest already portioned out.
Made this today, Sunday, 27 March. O.M.G!!! Sooooo delicious! And it made soooo much! I'll be savoring this for lunch every day this week! But. I did use the steakhouse parsley😂
I’m like Bolognese in 45 mins ??!!! Sacrilege !! But then I’m thinking I can’t cook this ( on my made in cookware of course) for my customers because I don’t have 8hrs! So this looks really good and I’ll give it a shot ! Thanks Tracy ! Got to serve it with tagliatelle though
My mom sautéed some chopped onion, then browned some hamburger and then only opened a can of Tomato paste watered it down, salt and pepper and that was poured over the cooked and drained spaghetti and that was her version. It was pretty plain. So your mom using Ragu was more tasty.
I invite you to my table for a meal. You are someone I want to cook for. And even if I never do, I will always see you as a groundbreaker chief! Oh, yes, I can do that too!
Is the pasta insert currently available from Made In? I have a stock pot from you guys, but I am using a mesh strainer that I got elsewhere, because you didn't have a pasta insert available at the time I bought my stockpot.
I'm not to correct a master like Tracy. But 'traditional' is milk, white wine, and a little tomato paste. That's it. No plum tomato. No red wine. And absolutely no cream.
Spaghetti Bolognese! What is the best pasta shape of all time?
Don’t hate me but I kind of like angel hair
Pick a favorite pasta shape? How can I choose? But if I have to - orecchiette, ravioli, and fettuccine.

Pappardelle is best because the Bolognese clings to it so well and it's great if it's fresh pasta!
@@Jdonlon56 So good
I cook this every time I cook bolognese. It’s the best. Quick too.

Do you use a 6 or 8 qt stockpot for pasta with insert?
That is the 8qt!
Trying this!

Your mom was a pro. My mother and grandmother were so close I learned the love of cooking from them!
💯
Wonderful

Thank you. Now can you talk about the pronounciation?
