Hey, do you have any updates on how everything turned out? Can you supercharge or fast charge with the salvage title? Did you loose any software like autopilot? Thanks in advance! Also, I’m just 20 min north of SLC.
You have to pay Tesla to do a charge port and HV inflection before they’ll enable super charging. Costs about $1400

Was it worth it? Depends on whether or not you can live without supercharging.
Tesla is now restoring Supercharger access to salvaged Teslas that are restored! Yea!

@@tessathomas1634 I don't have the details. I am looking into buying a salvaged Tesla still. I read a recent article announcing that Tesla will be restoring the option to salvaged Tesla's. I imagine it would require an appointment at a Tesla repair facility.

@@ravitejadesai no. The demand is so high that it is driving the price up a bit too steep for me. Car prices in general are starting to drop so I am going to wait it out.
So can you supercharge a salvage tittle
why didn't you just get a generator the pick up was a waste of money and most Tesla owners keep a backup generator if the Tesla goes out of battery and there is no charging station near by .

First day you get a Tesla you have to tow it how trash is that gotta always plug up a charger before you go to sleep or in the rain and shit. It wouldn’t even get a full day of driving before you have to wait for a full battery ole useless garbage
