Henry and carfection don't review cars.
They create cinematic films.
Another beautiful story told!
Well done!
Got to admit, for a small company there's almost manufacturer levels of thought and precision that's gone into this. Looking forward to seeing more of these.
Better than manufacturer level fit and finish. These are cars that get QA checked by a human being at every inch and nut and bolt rather than roll off a production line.
Alot of boutique car buildrrs rely on the everything matters mentality to set themselves apart. From mass produced cars sn5d you pay for it too
@@allensaunders449 Try 'a lot'. There's no such word as 'alot'. Cheers.
@@RalphOK It's a full time job correcting everyone's spelling online. You sure you wanna go down that route?
@@Nemoticon No, I'm sure I want to selectively correct spelling.
Henry, the car, the noise, the cinematography.. Just superb.
Actually Henry’s legal middle name is Superb
@@BrendanEvan Hahaha
"it can sound even better" Music volume increases to 200%
Exactly. Who edited this?
ha! i thought the same exact thing 🤣
Yep. Fire the editor.
Henry... less music please
Thank god I wasn’t the one person who thought this. The viewing angles are terrible and the sound is even worse. 🤢🤮
Honestly, Carfection is insane. Henry is one of the best presenters in the business. Whoever is the DP absolutely crushes the videography, and the editor is killller. Also this car is incredible. Props all round!
I always come back here whenever I'm having a bad mood or a bad day, it always calms me down, thank you guys for making such timeless contents
Did I hear that right, 964s were built with towing capability? Definitely the most curious thing I ve learned about 911s lately ..
Not half as curious as someone actually choosing to tow a caravan with one......
I’ve seen them towing motorcycles etc.
Back in the day I used to carry my 6m bright yellow double kayak on my dark blue 964 (which was about 4.3m long) on special roof racks. That got a few comments!
That is, a most curious thing!
That was kind of sarcasm. He was referring to the excess baggage the standard ones carry.
God when he started talking about naming the car after his little boy, I was like “please don’t die, please don’t die, please don’t tell me he dies!!!”
Thankfully its not like Dino.
He wouldn't have been telling it in that way if he had.
Same
I was waiting for it but thankfully it never came.......we can assume he's still alive.
@@Simonio8 so far........
Less volume on the music. We like hearing the cars instead.
💯%
Beautiful car and obviously built with passion by Theon 👍🏼 Great video with top notch production quality. Thanks.
The innocence of these small restomod firms remind you of the days when when Porsche dealers in California took 356s to small shops, tweaked them a bit and raced like hell. At least, that's how Ken Miles got the ball rolling.
Superb production as usual and a stunning car! Thank you.
Henry Catchpole is the premier car journalist right now. Would love to see Theon, Singer and Kaege head to head.
You should add gunther werks to that list. Henry is the best you are right
Just awesome to see this level of customization. Some of the very best imo. Thx for the great viddy!!! Cheers 🥂
Come on Henry, that or a GT3? One of the best car vids I've ever seen, no fake humour, no producer led nonsense, just pure enthusiasm. Wonderful.
Beautiful video and a beautiful car. Lovely job Henry & team.
Carfection’s cinematography has been particularly peachy as of late, keep up the good work! Great video as always
Agree. Found the music highly irritating though!
@@herme99 exactly. And the cuts when the action is happening. Terrible video, great car!
As usual, fabulous car selection, driving impressions, and film quality. There are so many ways to do a 911 restomod and all are special and individual.
A RUF is a car developed alongside the contemporary model. The Singer is one man's vision of the best pieces and looks of all 911s, so to me, the Theon is in the Singer tradition, but there are a lot of companies doing that today, many of which Henry has profiled.
The legacy of Theon Greyjoy , lord of the Iron Islands.
This is peak carfection... Well done everyone involved.
Dream car. Absolutely love restomod 911’s, when done tastefully of course
Awesome job thanks for the video.
This thing is a work of art and so is the video. Great work all around.
This ranks IMHO as one of Carfection best video for content and cinematography. And I wish Theon all the best, if I had the resources I would gladly be a customer.
Singer has spawned some very interesting and creative adaptations.
That's what I thought it was, a Singer 🤔😏
Thank you for this it made my day
Also who told Carfection that Henry catchpole needed flash angles and rock and roll music to make a video exciting?
Henry don’t need no music
Totally totally agree........ effing music drives me nuts, why oh why do these people add it, why !!
@@J.PC.Designs oh no, in comparison to classic top gear, this is fairy fountain music. Lol
I would easily take this over that any day.
Another great video. And what a car 👍👍😀
Been following these guys from the first 911 tiff tested a few years back would have one these in a heartbeat......and its UK made......wouldn’t surprise me if magnus comes a knocking lol..... welldone theon hope you go from strength to strength 👍👍👍
Henry and the team do it again. Definitely my favourite motoring journalist.
Awesome - thank you for covering Theon!
"A lot of these guys are at the mercy of some of these Porsche shops by having stuff screwed on that hasn't necessarily been developed to work as a team, and all that kind of stuff" -- Rob Dickinson, 2013.
exactly...
Also Rob Dickinson: "A British Singer?" What, am I not British enough? And at least I was a God Damn singer, The Catherine Wheel released more albums than Theon Designs..."
@@ironpony42 Well, if this quote is legitimate, his childish insecurities make him very much an American. Paul Stephens, Rennsport RSR, RPM Technik. Is he upset that other people have had a similar idea? And produce a high quality product?
The cars on this channel are always superb and Henry is one of very few presenters worthy and capable enough to review them
fucking lovely!! can't be mad at them or singer, the world needs as many of these as possible.
Beautiful car and filming, Henry’s videos still the best in the business.
This car is like the carification (personification) of carfection videos of late. The videos are like 911’s; wow, brilliant, perfection; surely they couldn’t get any better?! But hey! The carfection team have outdone themselves again, perfecting on perfection.
Looks spectacular, congrats 😁
Superb attention to detail, just wonderful.
Good luck Theon. That car looks awesome!
I've never seen a car as beautiful as this restomod
Production values on that initial drive sequence are next level.
Very cool song at 7:43 - Hyper Pegasus by Clara Kamil and as always an absolutly brilliant video.
Watching Henry grin the entire time should tell you all you need to know.
Beautiful car
i am loving all these restored classic 911s
love this!
Epic Carfection and Catchpole. One to chalk up alongside Henry in the Aston on the Scottish Old Military Road.
Absolutely superb in every aspect
The 964 is one of my dream cars to daily drive!
Nothing quite as fun as watching Henry driving a Porsche :D
Beautiful car with alot of care and thought put into it. I predict good things ahead for Theon Design.
It sounds perfect👌
Beautiful video. I appreciate that you pointed out the little imperfections too
This just shows the product resulting from passion one has. I mean the video. Oh no, the car. Nevermind. Thanks for inspiring - those who work with passion.
Lovely cars.. I cannot help the Theon Greyjoy link whirling around in my mind! I am sure I won't be the only one. Theon design are awesome as is Carfection and Henry Catchpole.
beautiful car , thanks for sharing
Since discovering TD a few years ago following Singer, I say I prefer TD. There is an indescribable something about the details that makes pure and purposeful
I like how Henry politely pointed out the items that he felt could be engineered or become options. Interesting how the custom Porsche HotRod/Recreation 911 builds are going, prices are becoming astronomical and I'm thankful I got my 2 air cooled wonders 9 years ago. Theon interiors are more inventive but they are using the same SpinneyBeck German leather as Singer-and of course I now use. I prefer 1987-1988 G50s but I see the 964 platform as more modern. I'll keep my mechanical steering with all its wiggle. With the Taycan Turbo S in the mix-drove it on track and its beyond amazing...911 and cars are about to evolve and keeping these masterpieces alive is critical.
Badly need this one 😍😍
Enjoyed every second , one of your nicest episode ! Thank you
ohhhh 4:3 aspect ratio, I didn't know Zack Snyder was your cinematographer
Superb as always!
Great video, amazing car and craftsmanship. Just wish you leave some more seconds of ambient sound, inside and outside, specially when it comes to a normally aspirated flat 6.
I hv always liked the original look of 911/964 and he has heighten the standard by giving it more modern infront air intake and rear bumper, I love how the new PORSCHE name written at the rear.
This production reminds me of old Top Gear. Henry would be a great co host.
Driven a singer now this. Love cars reimagined. Hope you get to drive a gunther werks remastered at some time in future
Loved the review Henry. Pretty nice car for half singer money...
Refreshing to see some decent seats on a restomod for a change.
I’m not one for modifying from original, but this project is on another planet 🌎
What an awesome origin story.
Love this origin story. RUF world.
Love the noise it makes
Sometimes a picture or a video doesn’t capture the true essence of a car... however this video like the car is perfection!
You could say it was Carfection then?
Henry, your smile says it all from the start! Natural, relax, enjoyment of the wheel in your hands. Seems to be a beautiful car, I hope Theon does well.
Very interesting, and nice story. Thanks Henry. I still complain about music in any car video..... But great production nonetheless 👍🏻
If Henry’s got a smile on his face while driving a car then you know it’s a good car.
Wow just wow
Really impressive for their third car!
Beautiful.
Would love to see these guys do a Garage 5001, narrow body style restomod
If I wanted a Singer, I'd be talking to these guys first. Amazing level of detail similar to Singer but a lower price.
You got to be kidding. Dont even use Singer in the same sentence. Singer destroys this wannabe company.
@@BobbyDazzler888 bet you believe Santa claus is real to🤔
@@BobbyDazzler888 Guenther wants to speak
Rhd a+ can u even get rhd singer?
Spectacular piece of cinematography.
The car, as good as it seems, clearly have some rough edges.
If I was in the position of ordering one my challenge to Theon would be a 3.6 circa 250-300bhp, under 1100kgs, narrow body on aluminium widened “steelies” with hub caps, rally lights almost no chrome or satin on the exterior, 2 seats... Dreaming is as good as it can be painful 🥴😎
Oh God when he starts it ... Love...
Wonderful
I've never found that adaptive suspension is necessary if you have nicely digressive high end dampers. I installed some MCS 2way on a BMW M3 that I once owned and despite the massive increase in spring rate, they were better mannered on the road than the OEM setup. Thoughts Henry??
I put it simple - this car is a masterpiece
Beautiful and special...
At first thought British Singer knockoff but I got to say I'm impressed by the execution, attention to detail & overall build quality. Well done
Not a knock off. Different vision.
Never been a massive 911 fan but after this, i want one, well I want this one. Better get saving those pennies.
Beautiful car 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video as always. Didn't see much of the interior of the car, so hard to compare with the competition. Not a huge fan of the name either, I would have gone with something more in line with Porsche. And finally the price, shame that a car like this demands those kinds of prices. No chance for us mere mortals to ever own one.
Another great piece by Henry and the team. Who was the photographer and editor by the way?
This has a whiff of the original Urban Outlaw film about it. Quite a good thing.
You should do a piece on guntherwerk , that's the one that really caught my eye
Guntherwerks is stateside, carfection is based in uk. I think due to covid, they haven't been able to go to usa

I would love to see a company like this, get into reso-modding '63,-'68 Corvair Monzas, & '86-'88 Fiero GTs Would be epic af!
Just lost for words really. Thank you for this
The cinematography and audio in this video are superb. Henry is a great host. I absolutely love this channel!
