I've had the Pixel 3 for 3 weeks now and just from my experience, battery life has improved massively from the first few days. Adaptive battery learned my habits and I now get 7-8 hrs sot consistently. I've had no problem with RAM management and am actually very impressed with how fluid everything is. All my pictures are saving fine. No dropped apps. Screen is great The gestures can be improved but other than that, I am beyond happy with this phone and this is after having tested the OP 6t and Note 9. Not apologizing the the pixel's problems but just saying that they are not universal.
I have a question that no one seems to point out, does it have a Dac? I want to get the pixel 3 but I am also an audiophile and listen to music for hours everyday though my earphones while travelling. Also, is there really that much noise in the photos?
@HuffyFuffy they are both pretty smooth tbh. I can't say that the op6t is any less, especially with the 6 or 8 GB of RAM in the 6t. I think the major trade off that you would notice is the battery life though. Like I said the battery life on the pixel 3 is good and has only improved, battery life on the OnePlus 6t is pretty exceptional compared to most phones on the market.
The same argument like the response of Steve Jobs at iPhone 4 antena gate with the famous "you hold it wrong". He was a CEO of that company. You just call on "common sense" your defend of a company that frosted glass back scratches extremely easily confirmed by many reviewers.
@@Wakemeup456 I'm using an OG Pixel XL, so I find it ironic that the "regular" Pixel 3 has the exact same size screen. It's amazing how much has changed in only 2 years.

Sorry Google, No money from me this time!!! I'm satisfied with Pixel 2 and won't upgrade!!! Besides, I'll get most of the camera features via software update 😎
I am using pixel 3 everyday. And to be honest i haven't faced any issues with the battery. A full cahrge with decent use of social networking, youtube and calling gives me a full day backup (without any external power bank). yes the user experience of Android pie is new so that's the reason its challenging but once you are used to it, then it becomes really Smooth after couple of days. As a pixel 3 user, i would recommend this device on any available device.
This is the most sensible and accurate review on the interwebs. As a pixel 2xl owner I'm really frustrated that Google never really got their act together on the hardware front.
I dropped my dad’s pixel 3 off a boat dock in around 10 feet of water on accident. He got his friend to use his scuba gear to retrieve it the next day, and there’s not one single issue with it. Granted, it did have an otterbox on, but 12+ hours submerged that deep is really impressive, even with a case like that
I have the OG Pixel XL and overall, call quality is fine. I've heard Pixel 2 and 3 are similar to mine in that regard. I've literally had maybe two dropped calls in nearly 4 months of using it, but I attribute that partly to my carrier (my device was originally for Verizon but was factory unlocked, and I use it on AT&T). Also there's a protocol one can run through if the problem persists. Honestly, my biggest complaint is that the ringer simply doesn't get super loud, even on Max volume. The speaker itself isn't super loud either for that matter, something Google rectified on the Pxl 2 and 3 with louder and front-facing stereo speakers.
The new navagation bar was frustrating, but I do think it makes it easier to use the phone with one hand. I don't have to stretch my thumb across the screen to press specific buttons and can hold the phone in my off hand more relaxed and navigate as proficiently as when I'm using two hands. That said... The button navagation bar with two hands was way faster and more reliable. But I like being able to do everything easily with one hand. It's not faster, but i think it's convenient.

The smaller Pixel 3 is prone to overheating resulting to throttling it mostly happens when charging while doing something else. Also I hope Google is able to fix the multitasking issue. I dont think the RAM is the problem because all is well on my Pixel 2 but the Pixel 3 really terminates apps in the background for no reason sometimes and its annoying. I returned the small Pixel 3 and I'm getting the 3 XL when the price goes down just because it has better screen quality, thermals and less black crush.
