Boarded the Pride today for a 14-day Caribbean cruise. My favorite ship in the Carnival fleet. The pizza guy today remembered me from the September cruise -- feels like a second home. Anchors aweigh my boys, anchors aweigh...
Awesome presentation! We just came off the PRIDE yesterday and had an incredibly awesome time all week. We may try to return to this ship because we loved it so much!!!!! Thank you!!
Nicely done. Going back on this ship in June and wanted a refresher (I just booked today so I'm a little excited.) :) Thanks for the well-done video. Hope you both had a nice time.
Hi you guys! I was actually the singer on board!! Thank you for sharing this video! Hope you enjoyed your vacation! Baltimore is my favorite home port! -Kristen
Kristen Marie I'll be there on Nov 26. 1st cruise out of MD. Looking forward to seeing you singing you're there. My wife and I will find you guys. Take care.
Thanks for the video. I’m going on this cruise For the week of 4th of July and now I don’t need to look around confused and I can now go in the pool!!!
Just wanted to say I liked how you did the video. Taking my kids on their first cruise in a few months on the Pride. This gave them a great idea of what a cruise ship looks like. Thank you very much!
I've got just over a year until i cruise on this ship. First time cruising so i'm really looking forward to it. Thank you for putting this video together :)
Thank you for a great video! I am going on my first cruise with my family aboard this ship. We depart December 30,2018 and I was very anxious about what to expect on this ship. Your video was straight,to the point and very informative. It’s a beautiful ship! I’m very excited and looking forward to my trip. Thank you again for a great video. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks for a great tour of the Pride........you captured all of the public decks beautifully.......we are looking forward to the Pride in early October 2018........Happy Travels :)!!!!!
I am sailing on the Pride in 2 weeks! Really like the decor compared to a couple of other Carnival ships we've been on. Thanks for posting so I could get a sneak peek!
Hopefully we will be departing on Sept 17th if the hurricane doesn't ruin our schedule. Beautiful video of the ship. Its been 3 years since we've sailed on the Pride and we are looking forward to Bermuda. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video looks great , we're sailing to Bermuda in September from Baltimore on the Pride , this answers some questions Looking forward to it.
Hi great video. We just got back, only complaint our room had a leak. We had the dry vacuum on throughout the night. Other than that great service, food I’ll rate it at a 7.
Revived Baltimore Port for sure. Good video. All cruise ships are foreign flagged meaning foreign crewed (non Americans) and the ship built foreign too. Oh well, at least you didn't leave from a foreign port.......US Merchant Marine is long gone.
I’m been on so many I think the pride is cursed all of my cruises on the pride something went bad but it’s always amazing and yah you’re on ses bad things can happen but it amazing anyway.. normally I have leigh on the pride somehow but I’m sorry this is not a full tour I know the ship but it’s still like the priority’s of the ship I’m going again soon hopefully nothing bad happens...this is a great video for ppl who have never been on a carnival ship

Nice video my friend !! Great job !! Few questions if I may ask you ? Were you able to get ice for your room for your drinks ? Was the fridge pre-loaded with drinks of any kind ? Seen a video that someone else did for this ship and theirs was filled with drinks of all kinds & they said they were expensive if you wanted to drink them. How was the room service, and cleaning staff, room steward? Was there a PA speaker in your room to hear announcements ? Thank you 😁
Thanks! To answer your questions, there was a free ice machine in the laundry room for 24/7 use. The mini-fridge in the room was not locked or preloaded with drinks and snacks. I prefer this to enable us to use the fridge as we choose. The room service is probably the best you’ll experience in comparison to any hotel. They’re accommodating, amenable to your desires, and highly proficient. Phenomenal customer service. They’re great. Lastly, there is an audible PA system in each room and in public areas. For emergency Public Announcements, the speakers in every room will be used. For normal daily announcements, the Public Announcement speakers in public areas are used to minimize in-room guest disturbances. Hopefully this helps.
@@good2know711 Thanks for your reply 😁 Any tips or tricks to know ? Recommendations ? Did you run into any crime of any sort ? I just read that crime is Nassau is horrible .
There are a ton of tips and tricks. I recommend Googling “cruise things to bring” if you need ideas for packing. The next thing I’d recommend is kind of an obvious thing, but people will talk themselves out of it. The next tip is to do what you want to do (within your means), and not feel pressured to do things you don’t want to do. If you want to excursion, watch shows, casino, or let loose, you should do it. If you want to bypass those activities and just do nothing and relax, you can do that too. We do a combination of relaxing and activities, but attempt to not take the excitement of vacation away by regretting to do or not do something. Crime not really an issue at the port of calls, or the cruise lines would change the port of calls. Every country and city has crime. If you’re concerned with crime, you can ask the concierge desk on your cruise ship for information on areas to avoid. Hopefully this helps!
Love how thorough this is! We will be cruising on our honeymoon in 214 days! I'm just trying to figure out how food works on the cruise. Do you buy a meal plan or pay for each meal?
Shannon Collins like good2know said, the meal plan is included, which includes the deli, the buffet, burger joint and a few more things that you can find on the website, there are other things however that cost extra like the steak house. Have fun on your cruise!! When are you going if I may ask?
Thanks! For sharing we are planning a cruise now for December 2018. Quick question how did the food and drinks work out? Im sure you would need to pay for all alcohol related beverages, but is the food all you can eat (I'm asking for a family member)
C Barnes food is buffet style all you can eat. It’s included in the price of the cruise ticket. Special beverages and food cost extra. For example, soda products, alcohol, specialty restaurants (e.g. Sushi, steak)
If you drive to the port and are not being dropped off, you have to park in the port parking lot beside the ship. The port prices vary based on the specific cruise port you’re sailing from. I recommend searching your specific port’s parking prices on Google. For the Baltimore Cruise Port, parking was $15 per day.
Thanks for the detailed video. We are schedule to go on Pride at the end of August and this helped calm our nerves about leaving from Baltimore. Just curious, did I see a ECU Pirates shirt? If so, hello from fellow ECU Pirate.
It was June. We were the first to board, and the majority of the passengers were at the pools on the top deck. That is why it seemed empty, although it was a fully booked cruise.
Not necessarily. When you disembark at various ports, you may end up exiting the ship near the bottom floors. You’ll be closer to those exits. There are elevators that move fairly quick, so it’s makes it a negligible time difference between lower floors. It is more convenient near the top floors since you can walk fewer stairs if you don’t want to wait for an elevator.
Hello! I just wanted to double check that this was the Carnival Pride cruise leaving from Baltimore? I loved the video thank you for posting it. We are going to be on it starting New Years Eve! We are so excited!
Typically, your embarkation passes will indicate the boarding time. You can also select your preferred boarding time when completing your online check-in process. I believe we boarded the ship at 2pm for this cruise.
Good2Know okay thank you my family and I wanted to know this is our first time leaving from Baltimore we usually fly down to Florida so we weren’t sure how early you could board sense it’s our first time leaving from our home state
It was $15 per cruise night. Which for a 7 night cruise ended up being slightly over $110 when you factor in taxes. You can also google the “Port of Baltimore’s parking fees” to confirm fees haven’t changed. The Port of Baltimore’s website is not intuitive, so hopefully the link below helps. www.parkingattheport.com/baltimore-cruise-port/
