Hey thanks for watching. That would be a pain. I haven't seen any with 2 belts. My model has 2 different sets of pulleys but that is because this is a 4-speed machine. Just put the belt on what set you want for the speed you require.
It would help if the year date was given. I have a 1979 and trying to keep from locating and buying a manual. I have so many different projects that the manual costs are killing me.
Hey thanks for watching. That's no lie. Factory Service manuals are expensive for most all equipment and vehicles. They are very helpful to have on hand though
you can check with the library if your not allowed to check out the manuals you can use phone to take pics of the section you need then copy to paper if you need to. Or just save in your phone pics. 😊
I agree. This machine used to have the wrap around bumper. In my video of replacing the engine I left the bumper off. I haven't missed it since. Thanks for watching John
Hey zarly. The tiller requires one. I this tiller is a 4 speed. So I have to move the belt to the other set of pulleys and the speed will be the other 2 speeds
If Billy Bob Thornton ever needs a voice double, you're the man for the job.
Hahaha I'll be waiting for his phone call
Just changed mine and I’ll say pre-67 models have two belts and will require you to pull the engine off to change belts.

Pretty easy...unless you have electric start and the wrap-around bumper like mine! There isn't any room to work then.

I have the same tiller what model predator motor did you use?
Hi Charles. It was the 6.5 hp predator engine from harbor freight. I have a video on my channel of changing to this engine.
Where ya get new tines from ?
Thanks for watching.
I ordered them from eaithe ramazon or ebay. I would go with different ones though these didn't fit as well as OEM tines do.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead Where ya get oem ?
@@pennacooner3973 The only place I know of is from troybuilts website unless you have a dealer in your area. the dealer should be able to order them.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead Ok...finally got around to adjusting the tension on the belt and it's a game changer. Thanks!
@pennacooner3973 great to hear. I recent had to readjust mine. Makes all the difference
Tires on that are driving me crazy
Lol yes. They did me too. I'll brake it down and swap it before I use it in the spring.
Thanks for watching.
