KJV Hendrickson Large Print Wide Margin Bible

A review of a Bible that I wasn't expecting a great deal from, but I am really impressed by the quality of this wide margin KJV from Hendrickson Publishers.

Thanks. I really love this bible as a reader. I like the fact that there is nothing to distract and the white space really helps to frame the text. I haven't written in mine yet but am just enjoying it as it is for now. Hope you are pleased with your copy. Rob

Thanks for taking the time and reviwing with telling the measurements. May I ask if the pages are white or rather cream / yellowish colored?

Hi, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. the pages are more on the cream side of things. However, it is hard to tell at the moment as it is night time here and I am looking at it under artificial light which always tends to make everything appear more yellow than it would in daylight. I have though sat side by side, my copy of the Hebrew/Greek keyword study Bible which has a blue/white paper and the Hendrickson certainly has a more cream paper. Rob

I just received my order for the hard backed version, it was slightly imperfect for $13.99 from CBD. I am going to enjoy it for sure. Although there are a few buts: It weighs almost 4 lbs. ( 3.76 to be exact). and although the print is large 11 pt. print, it is still somewhat light. Is Ink expensive? I have noticed that some bibles the print is lighter than it need be. All in all it is a fantastic edition for note taking , and the gutter is large enough for notes and adding (weight) interleave note pages to it.
I want to thank you for the review. It indeed showed the perks, bells and whistles of this bible.

Thanks for the reply. It is true that the print in this Bible is somewhat on the lighter side, especially when compared to some of CBP and Cambridge editions. However, I do like the typeface and I think the font size makes this manageable. Any smaller and I think it would be problematic.

I have a hardback version and I love it it is my first wide margin Bible so it's my baby it's my pride and joy that I will probably won't use for a long time but what I do like is my bearing precious seed wide margin Bible.
