I ordered two of these bibles back in May 3 of last year, and because of the pandemic getting it was an issue. I finally received it January 25, 2022. I had the option of getting my money back and waiting till they were back in stock, but opted to wait. Glad I did, very nice Bible! Good quality and very well put together. My only disappointment is the font. Would have preferred larger, as my eyesight isn't as good as it use to be. Other than that I'm very pleased with it! Thank you KJV Store!
I just bought one of these to be the partner to my LSB portable paragraph reference. They will both have the same binding/exterior: black full yapp, same spine hubs, same red under gold page edge gilding, both have an interior gold gilt line. So I’ll have the best of both worlds, the best KJV study Bible ever produced, along with the best modern translation. The best TR translation, with the best CT translation. Matching Bibles, yet different ends of the translation spectrum. Love it. Going to be the perfect pairing.
Print too small for me. I need 11 to 12 point font. I use a lap tray to put my Bible on so a larger size book isn't an issue for me. If they would have made the paper larger, keeping the cover the same size, it would be great for me. I'm not a fan of large yapps anyway, so make it large print, please. :)
This one does not. I don't actually sell Bibles, but I might be able to help you find one that will fit. Are there specific features you'd like? My personal favorite wide-margin KJV with self-pronouncing marks is the Concord.
@@shellg3320 your two best options for large print reference editions with self-pronouncing text are the Cambridge Turquoise and the RL Allan Longprimer. I've reviewed both in text and video. I like both and highly recommend them The Turquoise is a great choice if you want red letter. The Longprimer is best for black letter.
The Scofield notes are the entire point of this Bible. The closest thing to it would probably be the RL Allan 63 Sovereign (in Highland Goatskin). It isn't technically a wide margin Bible, but it's close enough, and it uses the same Oxford typesetting, minus the Scofield notes, heading labels, etc. Other KJV Bibles of comparable quality would be the Wide Margin versions of the Schuyler Canterbury or the Cambridge Concord. A lower-cost option, might be the Thomas Nelson KJV Sovereign. I understand they plan to release a wide margin version later this year. The quality isn't nearly as high, but the typesetting is beautiful, and the cost is much lower.
I have a 1967 Oxford Morocco leather Scofield that I adore, but I loathe the self pronouncing text. This here is beautiful 😍 I can't get past the KJV logo on the spine, tho ... sighhh 😫

I bought one of these to replace my Cambridge wide margin that has been my study partner for 25yrs. I'll start using it and making notes jan1st 2023

I haven't been able to put mine down. The best hand feel of any Bible and the print is beyond bold and consistent!
Another great review. It’s disappointing that there is no inner margin space to write on. It defeats the purpose.
Thank you Randy. Great review and comparison.
I want this edition!!!!! I'm drooling!!
KJV Store is doing some great work!
Thanks for the reviews. Great stuff.
Thank you!
Great Review Randy, i gotta get that goatskin Scofield, how do You compare the font with the common mans or the ruckman wide Margin for reading???
Wow. But gutter seems a bit close.

I need this in a 12 point and 38 GSM I don’t mind the size at all
0:09 it's not a version. its the Bible. others you can call versions. but the 1611 KJ. is the Bible.
😂
Love the KJV store
Does this bible have or do you sell one that has pronunciation of names in the text?

@@BibleBuyingGuide ok thank you. I want this beautiful bible large text with pronunciation in the chapters. If I can't find I will get one of these

@@BibleBuyingGuide red letter yes. Thank you so much!!
No hay por cuál inclinarse, todas están bellísimas
I'm not a big Scofield guy but that Bible is beautiful
Brother, you should consider it a blessing that you haven't been influenced by the sci-fi nonsense of C.J. Scofield!
Do you have this goatskin Bible without the C.J.Scofield nonsense in it?

@@richardstones1852 ok, thanks for telling me that brother!

text to far in the gutter.

I felt the same way until I received mine. In hand, it looks beautiful.
@@davidbourne2507 That's awesome! I pray it blesses you 😇
i wonder what went through theirs heads to make a wide margin but allowed text into the gutter...yuck! defeats the point...
