They are fun pistols. The Jericho has always been just a little to heavy for me to carry around, so it tends to be a range toy. Tames the 9mm and makes for easy follow up shots.
Looked like the jericho actually had at least just as much muzzle rise as the p01...if not a bit more. That said, although I have the p01, and am yet to purchase a 941, I am a fan of all steel pistols. If CZ made either the p01 or PCR in an all steel decocker version I would grab one in a heart beat so that 941 does look pretty sweet. I gotta say tho, I much prefer the location of the decocker on the p01, and also would prefer some forward serrations or at the very least extended rear serrations on the 941.
All steel definitely has it's advantages. Seems that since the late 80's, manufacturers began the push for polymer / alloy frames to assist in reducing weight for carrying. While there is no doubt that weight reduction can be an asset for many, there is something to be said for the feel of a full steel frame pistol. If you get the 941 you won't be disappointed.
I would argue that you fired the Jericho much slower than the CZ when you did the "rapid fire" shooting technique! Overall, Awesome video and comparison!!
Good question. They are noticeably different. The SP01 has a bit of creep. I like the Jericho trigger a little bit better but they are both good as combat handguns.
That is an excellent question. I do not see any specific information from the manufacturer's website. That being said, they are such sturdy pistols I can't see it being an issue. Possibly may need to change out the recoil spring after a lot of +p use.
They were originally designed by the Israelis to be chambered in either 9mm parabellum, or the .41 AE (Action Express). It can handle +P, as well as +P+ loads with ease (watch your recoil spring, obviousy).
That's a good question. The compact is a nice size, but I like the sight radius of the full size. My advice would be that if it is for carry, get the compact. For home defense or range use, get the full size. Hope that helps!
@@texmexshoots I like to think I will carry it every so often but holster options are slim and I've heard its not very light 😂 I mostly want at because the cool factor. Would definitely be a night stand range use.
Lots of cool factor, but yes, heavy as a brick. However the weight keeps the recoil down with the ability to make quick follow up shots. You will love it once you get to puts some rounds down range. @@NA-rr7jl
You have to stage the p01 trigger you never would fire it all the way double action it’s meant to be fired from half cock which lightens that double action pull.
The Jericho has never failed me
Jericho's are wonderful pistols! Super reliable. Thanks for watching.
Nice side-by-side comparison. Both look like good carry guns, and have more than adequate accuracy.

Thank I’ve been on the fence about both.. there’s a price difference that I think I’m more sold with the Jericho.. also steel vs aluminum
Thank you for watching! You won't be disappointed with the Jericho. It's a fun and smooth shooter.

I have the Jericho 941 in a .45 cal. Now I want that CZ P-01
Thanks for watching Nolepower! I haven't seen many Jerichos in 45 cal. I bet it is fun to shoot! Hopefully you can find a good deal on a P-01.
@texmexshoots Yeah man, I'm on the hunt for one.
Wife wanted a 75 compact; I bought us matching FS9's for valentines day instead. Hope it wasn't the wrong move on my part, lol!
Thanks for watching Zeb! Just make sure to pair it with some chocolate and flowers! 😄
Buddy made sure he got something! 😂😂

Thank you kindly Christian! Both are great pistols. The weight of the Jericho really does help in rapid fire.
Mu friend, are the SP01 trigger compatible with Jericho trigger?

CZ all day
Thanks Spy Network! I need to do another video with my Sp and P01
@@texmexshoots Yeah. Don't get me wrong. They are both awesome. But if I could only have one. The CZ would be my choice.
Are the Jericho pistols +P rated ? I know the earlier ones were not.

I have a 30 year old Jericho that I have shot plenty of plus p, considering it was designed for the verry hot 941 round, I never questioned it.

The comparison i needed to see. My budget isn't big and Cant decide between full sized jericho or mid

Thanks for the info Ian! Good to know.
You keep readjusting your grip of which tells me you haven't found your grip comfort yet
I noticed that myself. Not something I was consciously aware of. I have changed my grip a few times, probably need to find that sweet spot.
