The cranberry Pyrex collection are from 83-92. I collect cranberry glass that runs more of an amethyst/pinkish purple color. If you look on Etsy for the nesting bowls or on Facebook marketplace they run expensive for one, much less a full set. The second one you found with the lid was a roaster. I’ve cooked chicken, turkey and roast pig In mine with the lid. That one was reproduced in 1992. They run $40 and up

I love thrifting and have been doing it since high school. I have the corn dish lol. I collect dishes and pitchers that looks like veggies and fruits. Lol. Glad you're enjoying it. 😊
I just watched a whole video on Pyrex and yes its very collectable and certain patterns and colors are rare and if you find them they can be very valuable
Celia you did great!! I love that you have leaned in to thrifting! I've been thrifting since my teens . Lamps, serving trays, large bowls, and plates are what I am on the hunt for on the regular. But Pyrex - Sis, I literally START my search in any and all thrift stores, every time, looking for Pyrex . Yes, the 40 dollar bowls you ran into - that's too much even for me, even if I had my company bonus in hand !! LOL

Pyrex can get expensive depending on the color, pattern, period it was made. I'm not a pattern person, but I love the old glass pyrex mixing bowls. I watch Laura Caldwell too, I enjoy mid century modern furniture, but I've come to love "art deco period" too. I've collected a nice amount of paintings, statues from estate sales, antique stores. It's hard to finding good art, statues in thrift stores.

I"m excited for your launch of your thrifted finds! I went out this past weekend and I was looking for some wood pieces too.I saw a small wooden crate like thing but didn't get it.I'm also always looking for brass and colored grass and hobnail.Oh, and boxes and containers.

Glad you have fallen in love with thrifting:) My father used to come home with treasures he found at thrift stores, antique shops, etc. I think that's how I got hooked. I will place items in my cart and then Google the names of artists or makers marks. Can't wait to check out your page. 👍

Found lots of goodies.. i definitely would have bought the covered pyrex bakeware.. i use mine faithfully to use less aluminum foil to bake .. another good for the planet type thing -:-) welcome to the #lifestyleofthethriftandfamous .

Oh no! the large glass bowl and 2 smaller bowls with the silver trim may have been a Dorothy Thorpe design vintage & highly collectable
There are lots of reproductions out there of her work so I probably wouldn't have been able to tell the difference but you're right! More education needed!
