We head out for a quick trip to Colorado to scout the unit we drew Archery Mule Deer tags. We see a bunch of elk and get to test new gear. Stay tuned for September when we head out to hunt!

Anyone else headed out on a hunt in September? Over the past 9 years we have headed out west in September to get a jump start to the fall. With Iowa hunting season opening Oct 1 every year this gives us opportunities to try new country chasing Elk/Mule deer before we get after the whitetails

Epic video. Watchin from Australia. Ive seen Colorado in a million elk videos but that area/unit you were in was the most spectacular ive seen. So cool to see you take the girls out there hiking. I wonder if they will get the bug and want to go elk hunting with you guys??

Thanks for the support across the globe! I'm not sure if the girls would want to elk hunt, they were in better spirits walking out to hike than they were walking back to the truck haha. We will see, maybe they'll catch the bug one day!
