And all this is, is an improved mop, that self-wrings. Of course she invested in other businesses later. Damn, it can be hard, but this is so good.

I've never considered Jennifer Lawrence a great actress, but she's good in this role. The character she plays has to gain confidence and assert herself in the midst of so many obstacles, setbacks and flawed people she has to deal with. She doesn't deserve the mistreatment and harmful conduct by her father, her mother, her scummy half-sister and the people who try to cheat her in business. But she perseveres and comes out victorious, though she still has her dysfunctional family in tow at the end, helped only by her ex-husband and her close friend. The only weakness in the cast, in my view, is young girl playing her daughter. She is weak in the role, a quirky and often unemotional performance that doesn't deliver what's needed.
