My favorite these days is a Mora Robust Trade Knife. Clips on my shorts pocket and stays there essentially all day. Remarkably useful at work. Love this thing!
Good and informative video. People are quick to point out the negatives or things they dont like at this price point. This quality knife should do everything you need it to (within reason)
I have the full size 2750 Auto Adamas. I love it. I have big hands and it fits my hand perfectly. Recently went down the rabbit hole of Montana Knife Company knives. Really nice knives. I also have a nice ESEE.
I gather you're not much a Spyderco fan? I guess I like the same thing in sporting knives as I do with kitchen knives- as thin and they can be while being strong enough with minimal scales/handles. Most Spyderco knives have just enough handle to enclose the blade and they're very light. My favorites like the Delica, Dragonfly and Native are all pretty thin and very light. Definitely there's a place for burly knives but I use knives for knife jobs, axes for axe jobs and pry bars for pry bar jobs. I hadn't heard that Mel Pardue had died. That's sad news, RIP Mr. Pardue!
Spyderco is a much better brand than Benchmade. Better ergonomics, better edge geometry, and better steel choices with excellent heat treat. The K390 Japanese made Endura, Delica, Stretch etc will literally blow your mind performance wise.
Hey Doc, I bought a (Benchmade Osbourn 940) and it's the first and so far only quality knife I own. It's my EDC knife, and I have carried it everyday for coming up in 3 years and have loved having and using it every second that I have! Have you used one? Do you own one? Just wondered what your opinion was? Thanks for all the great content, I'm so glad I found your channel and started watching your channel!
Doc I have 2 full custom adamas knives, one fixed one regular. I think you would appreciate them.
I love the look of that Presidio on the right, beautiful patina
I got this knife back in May for my 40th birthday. Got the burgundy handle. I love it! The mini adamas is perfect imo.
I stopped by to watch a review of the mini Adamas but what I found was somebody picking up & putting down a table full of knives.

My spyderco rock jumper is fantastic, super slim & super slicy
Is the surface smooth? I'm hoping to have it cerakoted black
Love my mini adamas!
No Benchmade Nimravus? That’s my favorite fixed blade.
What about that knife is good? The sheath sucks, the blade is thin, the thumb ramp is sharp, and the grips scratch fast cause they’re aluminum 😂

The 940 is amazing
What kind of watch are you wearing in this video? Model
The Titan Submarine, the Rolex, NASA, and the Dangers of DIY: Quality and details matter.

Got mine yesterday having some issues with the lock seizing up. Anyone have similar problems
Send it back. The lockup and action should be perfect. No other option for a Benchmade is acceptable in my opinion.
When you consider Benchmade's Politics, Its too expensive at any price.
lol
Luckily I don’t bring politics into my life. Especially when making a knife purchase lol.
@@DeRock401 lol amen.. true enough politics RUINS everything
The Bugout is a wuss compared to the mini Adamas
The constant using 2 hands to open a bench made axis lock knife got to me. lol. Had to stop watching.
It doesn't take two hands to open nor close this knife
