  • Here is a straightforward video on how to remove the radio in the Rogue Sport from 2017 to 2022. I would have loved to removed and replaced the radio, but not in this one. BUT, here are some tools that can help.

I have the a 2017 with the same radio. Do these have a SIM card in them? I know the new ones do.

Do you know how to make the camera work on a replacement? I replaced it with one from a junked vehicle same model and specs and everything works except for the 360 camera nor the rear view, it doesn’t even show up when I press the camera button.

Uuuhhh..dont know..lol..did the car your putting it in have the 360 view? I know the junkyard one was but did the car your putting it in?? If so, I bet you have to have it calibrated in some way. Out of realm of knowledge. I know nowadays you cant just swap things and expect them to work.

@@richideates mine has the 360 view as well and it worked just fine before my screen broke. I contacted the dealer and they said it might just need to be calibrated since it was from another car. We’ll see!

I have the same unit on my xtrail 2016
I’m planning to change my car battery.
Does this unit ask for a radio code ?

With Nissan. Not too sure. I usually just call the parts department and give them the serial number on the radio that needs the code. They usually give it to me without a hangup, but thats been for Honda. I know nowadays that the VIN number is burned into the radio and computer. Then you HAVE TO go to the dealer. I know its like that for GM vehicles. Not too sure about Nissan buddy. Theres only one way to find out. Lol. Just go ahead and do it and report back. Lol. The worst that will happen is that it wont turn on. The best case, is that it will. Keep us posted. Im curious myself.
