You got a divorce Sam? I was assuming you were joking? If so sorry to hear that man!
😂😂😂 How many Ex do you have Sam sheeech
thank you for continuing to love, care for, and support your ex wife sam. till death do us part!
@@shortvidz9576 LOL, with a stepmom like he's got, he'll get a lot of ex's, other mens ex's.
@@shizzavip these things are always scammed designed to make money off of us. everything has a flashy app to get our personal info. if it truly saved people money then they would be out of business and have zero business model.
SAM!!! I just realized that you're going to be one of those guys that'll have those "barn finds" in the future when we're like 70+ years old 🤣🤣🤣
TRUE!!!
"Not for sale.... gonna finish it one day"
@@donaldcolbert8317 LOL! Hear it all the time!
Excited to see the C7. Check engine is probably the o2 sensors or lack there of.
That’s what I was thinking too.
I can't believe people were still pulling into the pump with all that smoke, if I saw that I'd definitely hit the next station lol
Welcome to Atlanta bro. Grab some waffles while you're here.
Look who was driving it. I have heard of that in North Minneapolis (equal to the Southside of Chicago) with people driving with just 3 tires on their car!?!? Yes the hop-a-long tires fails so they either just removed it or never had one to begin with!!
Congrats on the C7. I can't wait to see you work on it and improve it like you did with the C6 Corvette. Gotta love those GM performance rides.
C7 with aftermarket exhausts sound great, if he could procharge it that would be fire
Slow cranks can also be corroded ground wires, beyond the terminals that you replaced. I love simple fixes that are easily overlooked.
Sometimes even adding another direct power feed to the starter ( by means of a relay) solves a slow/ weak crank issue.
@@paulsz6194 Or rusty ground points !
The look on your face when you did the half throttle was gold😂😂😂and fear
Sam, speaking for myself, what I want to see is affordable, well supported cars that can be rehabilitated by a shadetree for not a lot of money. Which probably translates into domestic cars. I have neither the money nor the patience to deal with exotics. It doesn't surprise me that the Corvette videos did so well. If I watch your videos dealing with exotics, I watch it the same way I'd watch a comic dealing with a banana peel.
I must admit I watch for the smooth glide into advertising. Slicker than an Arkansas used car dealer.
The check engine light on the C7 might and I suspect, will be because the Ecu/O2 sensors are missing the catalytic converters.
The worst thing on a C6 could be the non mechanic door openers.
A friend of mine had one and because of this flaw only for a short time.
Sometimes the openers didn't work So he wasn't able to enter or leave the car in normal manner.😉
So he distrusted the Vette and sold it.
I think there’s an override in case you get locked in - a manual release somewhere near the bottom of the door? It should be in the owner’s manual.
Missing O2 sensors/cats were my first thought about the CEL…
I didn’t think an exhaust shop would touch cats… Thought it was illegal 🤷🏻♂️
@@stephen3164 yea it’s not that big of a deal lol, plus the replacement handles were only like $70
@@Knight21030 you can buy headers without cats. That’s what the cel on my c6 is for.
@@richardjameswellingtoniv9682 Yessir, but I think they sell that as an “off road” kit… at least they do in Maryland 😆
I want to see the mustang boss 302 conversion project progress and this Corvette of course please retain the black on black don't change that!!
We bought a repoed 2007 Chevy Trailblazer in 2009, it now has 150,000 miles on it and has been my wife's daily driver since we bought it (at a Chevy dealer, with the factory warranty still intact). Ever since GM silently changed the ignition switch design, it's been mostly trouble free (we went through about 5 ignition switches before that).
3:10 You Samcracced me up by tying in the poor SOB's damaged 4Runner to the Upside promo. LMAO!
The C7 is the first car in a long time I've actually cared about. With the other cars I just watched to support the channel till you got something I cared about, haha!
I bet the check engine light is the cats missing on the corvette if it runs okay at the moment.
I like high mileage cars if I can try them first and they have been cared for. They often drive really smoothly and are cheap.
Very interested in the 2nd video of the gated shifter. 👍🏻
Also, what’s up with the 599? 😲
Congrats on the C7. Interested to see what trouble you got yourself into with that one. 😉😂
All videos coming very very soon!!!
@@Samcrac Thank you

I thought you had learnt your lesson with Range Rovers
Lower ball joints are the known Achilles heel on many different Toyota models. This isn’t one of them but it looks like that is what happened.
Was going to say the same thing, super common on the Sequoia & Tundra
Every time my wife and I pass by somebody with a broken suspension like the guy at the gas station I tell her; 'Never ignore suspension noises darling'
Ha Ha had to go back & check, when you flipped the vid it looked like a Right Hand Drive!
My man was like, let me drive in the gas station and check my tire pressure, im sure it'll be fine.
I am for moving out of a lane BUT... A "$50" repair can become a "$500" repair fast if you keep going 😐...
I always think about repos: Can't make their payments? Definitely no service history.
Seen many repo BMW M Cars which are ruined.
I'm bidding on this. If I win I will fly to Florida and drive it back to Detroit, recording the entire trip.
Bid in LOW increments! I want the new owner to really enjoy it.
@@Samcrac I failed to mention, I might have to steal step mom for the trip back. 😁
it's true what they say: fire is more fun with friends and so whenever my car is pouring out great clouds of smoke, the first place i think to pull over is always the gas station!
If you are on fire, you will get plenty of help at a gas station!!😂
Sam might be surprised about how that car was driving with 1 wheel but if you come down to El Paso TX you’ll see something like that just about every week 😂
Okay avoiding El Paso
Ow look the mysterious "Whompy Wheel" is still happening.
Hello form NZ. We dont really get cars like this down here.
Excited for the 599, my favorite Ferrari as it looks and performs better than a 550/575, can be had with a V12 that can produce an unearthly howl when paired with a Technical Garage Sasaki headers/exhaust, plus a manual can be easily swapped in
I've owned a C6 and currently own a C7. I love my C7, but C6 is my favorite Corvette of all time... Technology wise, C7 is amazing, but the fun driving and modability, C6 is hands down your best bet.
Years ago, I saw someone in a chrysler sebring making a slow right and the left side strut exploded and the wheel was hanging off the car like that SUV.
A small note on your L405 Range Rover , remember that it was , as all LR products , built in a haunted house !
I like the fact that people are 'scared' about IMS and bore score issues on the 996/997's. It allowed me, a poor bastard to get a mint '03 C4S with 50K milesfor less than $30K back in 2003. KIM that car that was over $80K when new! Did the IMS myself for less than $400 during a clutch service and use ZDDP and 5K mile oil changes. Super reliable and have been driving it like I stole it ever since. 143K now on the odometer and many smiles per gallon left. You did great on your 997 Sam! Don't let it go
That forerunner had the common lower ball joint failure that was typical of that era Toyota.
This corvette is proof that if you buy one built on a wednesday where the people cared about how they built it they can last much longer than others.
Not surprised at the 250k mile Corvette. I think modern engines will easily achieve more than 250k and most people sell cars with loads of life left in them. This was not always the case.
He "did a little spit shine in it"... Bet he learned that from his step mom... Lmao 😂😂😂
Okay, the C7 was DEFINITELY SUPER UN-bearably Loud!!!!!! but that's a simple fix! ;) Heat wrapped, Long-Tube-exhaust headers with High-flow cats and a nice X pipe! Maybe you ALSO get the 3" dual cat back Electric-dual-mode Exhaust that had the big nice Black or chrome or polished center exit dual exit mufflers with either 2 or 4 Slash-cut (angle cut) tips. How does her Surgery turn out?? When you put your foot down and She immediately sounds like a purpose built racing machine!
The 4runner in that gas station had its lower ball joint fail on him. That's exactly what happens when they go.
Sam you're crazy good at working in sponsors. 🤣🤣
There's way too many of them in this video.
Meant to mention on that Porche video, seen ChrisFix's long term head sealant test? Its worth watching if you've not seen it.
Lower control arm ball joint took a vacation, and the wheel followed.
You need to wear some white New Balance running shoes when driving it . The spongy bottoms cut the drone. All middle aged men know this. If this doesn’t work you just have to ride your riding lawnmower more often to lose a bit of hearing .
Glad to see you’re now all in with gen v engines. The 6.2s are just a blast!
Sam, those "new" battery terminals will leave you stranded. You need a good crimped connector. Those will corrode and cause you grief.
I would expect the check engine light is down to the cats being cut off without the management being remapped to ignore the exhaust O2.
That C7, when you go WOT, you should be put back in your seat. That thing is slow. Cut the cats and muffler will kill the engine performance.
Wait. Weren’t you the one who hated the sound of your Aston Martin too? I.. it’s the red on my neck that makes me love the sound of a loud car. I am guessing your Harley is as quiet as your moped
Samcrac the king of the ad tie-in
Low-restrictive mufflers diver more horsepower. I put two on a Crown Vic cop package I had and got an extra 10 horsepower!
I know you're a super car kind of guy but the American Vintages are my favs!
I can confirm Sam. I bought a 2011 Ram single cab short bed sport years back. Slick looking. Quick truck. It was a repo and had problem after problem. After problem. If you can't afford the oil changes, don't buy the car
The thought of you and a Range Rover is terrifying! Lets see what happens with the C7,... I trust you can straighten out the issues... 👍🏾
Pretty sure the check engine light is the cats being gone. I don't know why people do that to a street car. I cut my mufflers off but left the cats and the sound is great.
My vote: Any Corvette video over anything else :) I'm sad to see the C6 go but also excited to see what's going on with that C7.
I don't remember, did you fix the hood opening stuff?
"Came on like a Heart Attack... Hey Baby..."
You have that check engine light because those catalytic converters were removed from the c7. Nice c7 by the way.
The ball joint broke for sure 😭😭 just look at the way the tire is
After auction, the high milege Corvette confirm a good deal!
As far as exhaust for the c7 check out corsa performance exhaust they typically have some of the BEST exhaust in my opinion
It's a shame to see the C6 disappear from your channel. A high mileage vette would be great to follow.
It will be good to see the C7 have its issues ironed out.
My first mustang was a 1995 GT. It had many electrical issues. One of them was 40 ohms of resistance between the battery post and the battery terminal! I couldn't understand how 2 parts that were literally tight and touching could have so much resistance.
love the vette series thanks man
I can believe Samcrac don't know better than to put 87 octane in his car! 87 octane is for chain saws and lawn motors!
100 bucks says they didn't code out the straight pipe mod . That's why the check engine light is on
The c8 definitely 02 sensors are the reason that check engine light is on
599 with orange wheels on the trailer huh? 👀
The only time you've got more inquiries @Samcrac is when you have Step Mom on.
I love how the cheap Chinese battery analyzer said TESTTING
If you did nothing but Corvettes I would be happy. Upside is the real deal.
I can’t wait for a follow up to the c8 and the Range Rover.
I have $15K supposed to go towards my special order vehicle that was built 2 months ago. Maybe I should bid on this black beauty.
Don't ignore your balljoints! I've seen a couple let go, thankfully it doesn't look like that 4-runner was at speed.
Literally to the 1% who's reading this, God bless you, and may your dreams come true, stay safe and have a wonderful day.
Thanks bro!

@@redriver15262 that's cool if you are, but there's no need to share your preferences in the bedroom to random strangers.... Damn devil worshiping liberals... Just because you're an unhappy and entitled piece of shit, doesn't mean you need to try to bring hate and unhappiness to everybody else....
2:25 I had a similar issue the other day, I can send a picture to your Social media, it was a complete failure of the control arm, not as dramatic but felt like I lost a tire, pulled into a store, everything was fine (kicking the tires), so I tried to move it about 50 feet up the road and the whole tire jerked back and off the broken control arm. Broke a few other components but she’s back in shape for the most part.
Nice to see Sam buying more hooptie cars again, this is my cup of tea! Range Rovers are ostentatious piles of doo-doo.
I can't believe someone thought to mess up the C7 exhaust like that lol
Me being a guy who loves cars buy doesn't work on them has no idea how that big American car should sound like. To me it sounded sweet. All powerful and V8 sounding, maybe V12. To me being untrained it sounded sweet but to the men there who are trained in engine tuning picked up a problem straight away.
Hope you shut down that active fuel management.
Toyota lower ball joint failure. Super common on these older Toyota SUV, TRucks.
I would like to get a complete fleet update on ALL vehicles! Thanks SAM
The C7 is by far my favorite Corvette, I can not wait to see what you have in store for your new C7 .
Sam - always a good rule of thumb to stay away from British cars and suvs of any kind. They may be fine for first couple years but buying one with >75k miles will always bring you to grief, Just dont have the investment into quality during design, development and esp Manufacturing
Cutting the mufflers, I get. Cutting the catalytics though? You'd better actually go all the way with the exhaust overhaul if you're removing those.
Well done on getting the ramps installed
Sam you work with Copart often. Check out Cleetus McFarlands new video and look what they did to him. You should get in touch
Most Vehicles I've owned have the check engine light on permanently because fixing it is a nuisance. I'm not a sadist! I've gone through several Vehicles where putting brand new parts on to turn off the check engine light and the parts lasted between a day and a week and had the same problem all over again and ironically it was a waste of time because all you were accomplishing was turning the light off. Pretty much every vehicle I've had has a problem with the exhaust oxygen sensors and in my experience changing the sensors on top of being a massive pain in the ass depending where some of them are located it accomplished nothing. My grandfather went through the same thing where in one case the sensors didn't last a day that were put on he bought them right from the dealership and basically they didn't care once you put them on the vehicle you're out of luck they don't warranty stuff like the oxygen sensors. And even if there is a warranty that doesn't cover the labour for putting them on. One Caravan in particular I had was almost hilarious check engine light would go away for weeks at a time and then it would come on for a day or two then all of a sudden for about 10 or 15 seconds it would act like it was having a seizure shaking and jittering and going on when you push the gas pedal then the check engine light would shut off again for weeks or even months and the vehicle would run fine this was one of the vehicles where it stated the check engine light was an oxygen sensor and I replaced the oxygen sensors which started the whole process of randomly the check engine light coming on for a couple hours to a day and then it would suddenly throw a fit without warning and after it was done throwing a fit for a few seconds the light would go out. Light with an oxygen sensor and I drove some of them thousands of miles with the light on I really don't lose my crackers over it anymore unless the vehicle is doing something wonky. With the sound you've got going on I suspect the check engine light is they have no oxygen sensors possibly no cat just a straight pipe. I've lost track of how many vehicles I've seen with modded exhaust and they didn't put something back on which brought the check engine light on usually being an oxygen sensor
I was so ready to say the C7 sounded great, until I heard the rattling.
Hi Sam, We have seen you have just about any modern sports/luxury car brand/model: Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Bentley, Corvette and so on.
Dont you ever come across any affordable Lotus or Lamborghini in you search?
YOOO SAM ive been watching for a long time HUGE FAN!!
Always love to see what’s going on with a Range Rover
Sam, did your stepmom ever get used to driving her car with all those upgrades you guys did?
250,000 miles on a vet for 12k 😂
Honestly just get a used NPP exhaust off the c7 groups for cheap and hook up the npp valves again. Make your own mild 2 wild exhaust controller with a $20 relay and add some headers and high flow cats. Then you have a loud car when you want and a very quiet stock like car when you need it. That's what I have on my c7 and it's perfect. I have debated throwing 2k at a corsa npp exhaust but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Lookinf forward yure work on the C-7, good luck
Just when i’m about to give up hope for a new video, you come back and redeem yourself. Really good video, thanks sam!!!!👍🏿🔥😂😂😂
The Ferrari you had on the the trailer is in V tune's garage
Pfft, only muffler I've ever installed on any off my car/trucks has been of "straight pipe" design
I know I’m opening a can of water logged worms but, have you seen some of the flood cars available at Copart in punta Gorda facility? There are some Trans Ams available I would like to see.
