- Absolutely nothing looks wrong with this game from what I can see in this trailer. I think the game looks rock solid, and it's looking like everything we could want from a Suikoden spiritual successor.

Super thankful that they did not fall in the trap of lack of marketing. Thank God Muriyama listened. We should hopefully have a lift in sales with this.

The best trailer yet imo. This has been my most anticipated game since I heard about it, and didn't think I could be more excited. This trailer blew my mind!

This trailer caught me by surprise when I was at work. Didn't watch it until when I got home. Haha! As for this trailer, honestly it has reached a point that it is hard to hype responsibly. I love all the content R&B studio is giving us and as much as the goals they set way back 2020, so far so good! I love how they are dishing out new content but not to the point of too much spoilers and I agree with the other comment that marketing should push this more until launch! I mean snippets of features, some new and some a fresh perspective of the older features. As for the spiritual successor thing, I think all things Suiko will probably be here...we have the sexy Jeanne-like character (most probably handling rune-lenses), checked! We have the klutzy- teleportation gal like Viki, double check! We have vampire-like villain Neclord style, check! Each and everything we knew and love about Suikoden hits right home for me with Eiyuden! And I am hoping that this will be a start of a great series that Muriyama envisioned with Suikoden before. :D
I wonder if we will get some Kind of Leknaat. I loved her in every Suikoden Game.
@@Tirigon Yeah, I'm hoping so as well. Leknaat really is one of those NPCs that is always part of the lore of the Suikoden series whatever timeline it may be. Hoping it is to almost the same or better as well in Eiyuden. If there's none, I'm still happy as far as what I'm seeing right now :D :D
Something like Leknaat would indeed be cool. She gave a great sense of continuity to the series. Even if she only appeared for a handful of moments.
I actually thought we weren't getting an update yet because of the game awards, but it seems like they were cooking this fantastic trailer!

Thanks for making this video! Shared this clip on Reddit - Always love seeing someone being as excited about this as I am. The variety of characters, LOVE that they added dragons and dragon men! And several elves. And that huge horn man. Fun! Battle fights look fun as well. Cannot wait for this game! I happen to be on vacation in Japan during the release. Likely won’t be able to start playing until I’m back. 😅 But all good. Would be great if there was a public release day event in Tokyo. 😄

We've gotten a lot of spiritual successors on kickstarter over the years, but this one is honestly looking to be on par, if not even better, than what proceeded it. April cannot come soon enough for me.
Just shy of my birthday which is the 25th man cannot wait to play it
My guess early game they will swap between the 3 protagonists to get gamers to try a larger variety of the heroes, then merge the groups mid to late game. I think this is smart to avoid the pokemon effect where players simply stick to a small group of core favorites all the way through.
War Battle kinda remind me of Kessen 1 and 2.
Even got the Officers and Sub-Commanders in the units.

The Game looks so Awesome! The Warbattles have so much Details like Rageboost/ Moralboost etc. Or the Battlereport with all the Soldiers named like the Backers.
The only think i dont like so much is the Trinity System..i hope its not like in Suikoden 3.
I didnt liked it. And its a little bit strange that all Stores, Tavern etc seems to be Outside, where you can buy things.
But all the other Stuff i love!
Cool that you also discoverd Garoos Daugther^^ But you miss the Scene with" Stompie" there was another of this Creatures and he cast a Spell on a Plant. Maybe he is a some Forestspirit or something?

I would say no to the update now, because it is past the middle of the month. And I’m glad you enjoyed the video dude!
A lot of people seem to think the different perspectives will take place at the beginning of the game, so it might just be a prologue type thing instead of the trinity system.
We don’t have long to wait and find out now!

Will there be romance elements/sub-plots or couples in the game?
Take it with a huge grain of salt, but there is rumor the controller kinda clunky and the current game still kind of buggy, and some also protesting that the VA also is not top tier (hater, be hater, we know we got lucky enough since this is basically supported by kickstarter)
If those issues are real they still got 4 months still to make things better. I think squashing a bunch of bugs and making the controls smoother should be doable in that time.

@@gamebreak6395 kinda agree, and that exactly what I also think. It's come from some random people on the internet, if I not know better I think they might be from konami XD.
Joke aside bug or VA is not my concern, but i do worry about how much clunky the controller or how much the UI friendly the game is since we can't see that in the video, and to fix it sometime from the dev point of view they need to overhaul the game itself. Cross my finger on that. Hope it's just a rumor, or at least it's not that bad.
