Did you use a normal biro to draw the bird or was it a special fabric pen? I will give this a go, thanks so much for sharing with us Sherry, your stitching is exquisite.

Thank you! The pattern was one of our physical patterns so was already on the fabric but if I was transferring a design I would use a Frixion pen - I'm currently using the Frixion fineliner - to draw the bird or trace from our PDF. Once you've stitched, you can simply remove the Frixion pen lines by applying heat xx

Sherry what were the watercolors that you used, the maker and the names of the color. I loved how this turned out, and I would very much like to try to duplicate it. A Wren is my favorite bird. There are several that come and sit on my porch every day. I love their little proud tail feathers standing to attention. Thank you for this video, you made it look so easy and effortless, lol no way will mine be effortless! Thank you again.

Hi Rita xx Oh the wren is one of my favourite birds too!
The watercolours were Daniel Smith and I used Burnt Umbre and Brown Ochre.
Give it a go - you can definitely do it!! Let me know how you get on xx
