TCA is still my favorite acid for shedding skin for a brighter complexion. I have been peeling my skin at home for over 15 years. My process continues to improve, which is why I continue to share.
I do not offer advice on your skin; I only offer experiential insight, which I believe to be valuable to the conversation.

I hope MUAC doesn’t get shut down with this exposure because I’ve been using them for this for almost 20 years too.

My one question is why didn't you use the peel on your neck? I was planning to do neck and face, but see you only did face. I am curious the reason behind that.

I did an 18% and I’m peeling!! It’s so good watching this now to get some advice. Do you think see breeze would be ok for de grease?

No I don’t think in my opinion sea breeze is enough to really degrease and prep but it’s better than not doing anything 😘

I would suggest a good vitamin c serum a 20% or more vitamin c. Also invest in a 1% retinol and a really strong sunscreen. Hope that helps you. Much ❤

You don’t need to neutralize TCA yes I use water

Dear God, why dont you use the emla numbing cream to avoid pain? You'd even save power from stop using the blower.
You can’t use numbing cream before an acid peel. Numbing cream changes the way the skin absorbs the acid

I have 100% tca that I need to dilute to 25%. I've never done a tca peel before but I have scars on my face and I need to have at least a moderate effect. I have distilled water that I'm using to dilute it but I don't want to dilute the entire bottle..I only want to dilute the solution that I will be using for my cheeks. I only have alcohol 70 percent isopropyl. Is it OK to just use that 3 times before I use the tca?
Use a syringe or Pipette to draw up an amount of TCA (100%) based on that part of its 1ml for example then add 3 mls of water to cut it to 25%

Have you ever done the Soonsu shining peel? I just got it. It looks very similar to BienPeel or BioRePeel but I can’t seem to find anywhere if the Soonsu can be microneedled? If you have tried it, what was your experience? I’ve done TCA before but got this one for the minimal downtime.
I’ve never tried the Soonsu shining peel. I have used the BienPeel previously, that peel does not compare to my TCA peel. I should look into the Soonus to see if
I find I first on the first pass but I think it’s because I’ve consistently used retinoid for ten years now
Yes one way to prep for TCA is to prime with Retin A so that makes perfect sense. I use Retin A to help expedite my TCA peels

How many times a year do you recommend doing a peel?
I don’t make any recommendations for other people’s skin…I only share what I do on myself. Typically 2-3 TCA peels in the winter months
Do you do one each month during that time or wait longer between the peels?
@@SpaandTell can I ask in which month you’re starting and when you’re doing your last peel for the season? I’m wondering how far into spring (like March) I could still do a peel. I very much appreciate your insight and you sharing your experiences! :)
I would recommend doing a peel every two weeks for two months.. Hope this helps.. ❤

How often you make it once a year or once in 2 years ?
Usually two times per year in the fall
You know what I used that same brand in it said it was TCA so I never neutralized it. When I went back and read the ingredients, it was more than TCA, even though the front of the bottle said TCA and ended up having a couple of other assets in it, and I woke up the next day with a bad chemical burn on my face. I’m wondering if they just put the wrong bottle in? But I’ve never neutralized TCA before because it just stops you know. I could not believe when I went back and read that it also had lactic and glycolic acid in it!
Makeup artist choice says that their 30 TCA has other AHA’s? I’ve never gotten that info from them and I work with them. I’ve neutralized their peel and then I’ve not. But on the times I’ve not stopped it early I’ve not had any issues. Please Let me know the exact acid you used?
@@SpaandTell you know OK when I click on TCA 30% on the brand and then I scroll down under ingredients it says glycolic acid and lactic acid in it. But it wasn’t at your recommendation. I bought it. I just found it on the Internet and bought it and it’s on me because I never neutralized it but I did not neutralize it because I’ve never neutralized TCA and I usually use a different brand. So I assumed because it was just TCA I did not need to neutralize… Am I misunderstanding something on there? Could you double check? Please share this with people because I think other people are used to not neutralizing TCA so they may skip it too. I had to go to a dermatologist and get on antibiotics, prednisone, and just keep my face covered with Aquaphor, but the chemical burn was very frightening. It’s like my face was cracked i’ve never seen anything like it before, and if I would’ve known, it wasn’t pure TCA, I wouldn’t have done it. I’ve always used TCA at home and never had a problem before this. Now here I am getting ready to do another peel, but it will be strictly TCA lol

You don't need any more anti wrinkle treatments as you don't have any ,you need fat grafting
