Thank you. This is really helpful. I'll be watching your other videos. I found one of these at my local greenhouse, and fell in love. I'll get this food and soil too. Now, I can't wait to bring my new plant home!
I bought a bambino thinking I was buying the regular size flf so I’m bummed but I didn’t know they can do lower light so now I can move it to my east facing window and get me a regular flf! So that was great news for me! YAAAY!
Very nice video, i was gifted a bambino variety for my birthday last year and bought a regular one over the summer. I thought it was odd they look different, well now i know why! Thank you for the information

I was so disappointed when I found out my flf was a bambino,it hast gotten any new leaves but is growing tall and I love it😭 planning to get a regular flf soon❤️
That's ok! It can still grow taller. Also check to see if your plant is ready for a new pot. The root system can only grow as big as the pot it is in. If you move up a pot size, the root system can grow and then support more branches and leaves and increase in height. Happy Growing!
Good question! Same way you notch at fiddle leaf fig. When your trunk it mature and covered in bark, you take a notch out of the internal space. This video will show you how to do it! ua-cam.com/video/-z2c4UtxASI/v-deo.html
How tall and wide do these bambino fiddle babies? I live in a small basement apartment with 2 windows. I do get some light I'm sure I'll need a grow lamp. Just wanted an idea before I purchased one.
How do I buy your products for my fiddle leaf figs, I currently own 5 , I am new to taking care of house plants. I think the fiddle leaf fig is my favorite with the fiscus burgundy being my 2nd. Choice and then the rubber tree.
Hi Phillip, thank you for your support! All of our products can be found on Amazon available to ship to US locations, Canada and the EU. I love fiddle leaf figs and rubber trees are a close 2nd!
It might be if the plant has remained smaller and the trunk is not woody or bark covered. Pinching can be done on smaller less mature plants to encourage branches to grow. Here is a helpful video! ua-cam.com/video/KsdtmrZdv8o/v-deo.html
Thank you Erika! Sorry to hear you are having some soil moisture issues. Likely your pot has either inadequate drainage or your soil is compacted/root bound. @@FiddleLeafFigPlant hello Claire, thank you so much for the attention, I will definitely watch those videos and learn. I also got the fertilizer from you and I see new tiny leaves and I almost cry of happiness 😂

You're welcome!
I wish you showed actual clips of examples of both regular Fiddle leaf vs Bambino.

Bambino varieties are very pleasing to look at and they may grow slower but will still continue to bring you joy!
Was thinking the same why mine is normal length but is not much wider!
My bambino has grown 3 inches in a month and my regular fiddle fig has grown 1/2 inch in a year.
🙌 Way to go! You are caring for your plants so well!
Well, now I'm wondering if the reason my FLF isn't growing tall is because it's a bambino. :Face palm:

Hi! Can you notch a dwarf flf?

They can reach up to and over 3 feet. If you want to keep it small, keep it in the same pot size that it is in. Happy Growing!
So that's why my LFL is still so little and cute. I have a pretty big LFL and I was wondering why this one was so little 🤣🤣
Happy to help! I love the bambino / dwarf variety, they make really cute gifts!

Wow!
Is it harder to promote branching on a dwarf miniature fiddle?

@@FiddleLeafFigPlantthanks so much for the quick response. I pruned it back a couple weeks ago and now I notice some little green bumps emerging. 🤞🏼🙏🏽
Please say I am not the only one, who bought a bambino because I tought bambino meant that the plant is "young" and it will grow by time. 🤦♀😂
But they are really cute plants to grow!
I love your channel. I got your soil and as my plant “seems” fine, I water 1 month ago and the soil still wet. ....... I don’t get it 🤷🏻♀️
