Jake Sully basically singlehandedly doomed the human race (20 billion people dead that's a lot of blood on one person's hands...) and left his own home planet to die. If you heard that on the news in real life you'd be all kinds of angry.... Jake= true villain, worse than Darth Vader. At least Vader turns good in the end. Not holding out any hope for Jake Sully switching back to the human side in later sequels seeing as he now has a Na'vi wife and children. Quaritch= hero
Exactly bro! What I like about Quaritch that if you're on his side he will give you the respect you deserve and will stay true to his word if he promises to reward you for your hard work. But if decide to betray him, he becomes your worst nightmare and will go through extreme measures to make sure you are eliminated and make your life a living hell. Quaritch treated Jake like his own, made a deal to return him his legs, and Sully just spat on all this and didn't even thank Miles, end up betraying Quaritch and all because of blue xeno pussy. Colonel should've killed their avatars when they came to destroy the Hometree, cuz the negotiations has failed and they don't need them anymore, and after destruction of Hometree return and deal with Jake, Grace and Norm, not just put them in custody. Enemies must be crushed lest they rise again. Unfortunatelly Miles paid with his life for his kindness and mercy. Now he returned as recom for revenge, and I really hope he won't turn and stays loyal to his cause by killing Jake and Neytiri. Also I like when in their fight on sinking ship Quaritch laughs just in Jake's face when they are trapped underwater, shows that he doesn't care at all about his death as recom even though he died as human, he is like: He-he-he, it's just us Corporal, I die but you're coming with me. Fearless as hell! Now when he speaks to Neytiri saying: I owe you a death! God, that anger on his face and hate in his eyes towards her is just fascinating. I wan't him to succeed in killing this "sweet" couple. I don't care how Jake dies, he is just a traitor which needs to be dealt with, but Neytiri made this personal for Quaritch, since she is the one that killed him. I expect him to catch her, then torture and mutilate her so hard and brutal, so she'd beg him to kill her, but Quaritch won't, her death must be slow and painful. Imagine how his knife pierces into her, tearing her flesh and scratching on bones. What a delight and pleasure Quaritch would have while doing this, hearing her painful cries. Music to my ears. The element unobtanium was used to create superconductors needed for not only travel and general energy, but atmospheric processors that gave people on earth breathable air. His shortsightedness doomed millions of not billions to death.
😂Kind of simplified his motivations with a straw man. Humans instead of negotiating properly or finding somewhere else decided to steal resources from another planet and then decided to attack said planets locals and sacred sites. They literally had no claim to the planet lmao. Humans as a civilisation decided to doom their own planet
@@novacaine_ your argument is a strawman argument. They were there for years and when Jake was tasked with that exact negotiation he never once brought it up until an invasion force was under way. They were literally there for decades trying to negotiate. And the loss of one home tree to save billions of people is a no brainer. Had Jake done his job, maybe they could have actually had an understanding. Instead he played in the woods, got laid, and never communicated what was necessary. He betrayed both species for a piece of ass.
@@slc308 Not you trying to rationalise genocide lmao😂. The planet was not theirs to do anything with, full stop. @@novacaine_ how many really died? 1 or 2. Maybe 5. They were driven from it by gas first. The tree was destroyed. That's not genocide. Meanwhile Jake and his refusal to do his job set them on this collision course and potentially killed billions of humans, which would be genocide.
@@novacaine_ again, the lack of genocide and years of negotiations to acquire what they needed was all in good faith.
Quaritch= hero
facts
Quaritch is a hero! For Humanity, RDA, SecOps and Project Phoenix! Oorah! Semper Fi🫡
Honestly if this guy wasn’t committed to the Avatar franchise then he definitely should be the role for General Thunderbolt Ross/Red Hulk in the upcoming captain America movie
If he could get back into this shape then hell yes but he's in his 70's, he's fit but doesn't have the muscle mass like this
@@TheNitroPsycho And you think Harrison Ford does?……You do know that the muscle mass from Lang’s role in the first Avatar was CGI right?
But the background suits him strict military solider, ruthless, daring, impulsive, and vengeful…all the traits that would make a good Red Hulk.
Colonel Quaritch
Secret hero of the movie.
He’s dead
@@TheProtagonist2020 miles quaritch he will return Avatar The Way of the water in his navi form
Some haters said the colonel is bland , but who cares , the guy is a bad ass villain that feels like a treat , he is lifting weights the first time we see him, he drinks coffe while killing na-vi and doesn’t care
He doesn’t care that he is not breathing , like he is the most cartoon villain and he owns every scene he is in
He is NOT bland haha. He is GENERIC, but not bland at all. He's the average of every tough military loyalist stubborn bastard bad guy you ever saw, but he's LOADS of fun doing it, I love him.
can't believe he's back 😂

I loved this scene when I was a kid. I was just 8 years old when I first watched Avatar. This scene here, I pretended I was running with them to escape the enemy!
Then you got me out here pretending to pilot an AMP suit with Wii controllers as a kid🤣
I hold my breath until Quaritch wear the mask
Funny, I used to pretend that I was shooting with the Colonel.
I love Trudy so much. She deserved to stay at the planet alive and well.
They needed to make room for more characters I guess:/
@@TY-PO along with her or maybe Dr. Grace.
She went to Eywa too. For helping to save Pandora.
traitor like the rest of them
Trudy should of waited to power up the samson until everybody was on board..
when she started it up.. it immediately alerted the operations room and then Quaritch
acted... while jake and grace were still trying to get on... resulting in Grace getting shot..
Yeah I thought that too. They should've got everyone on first, then started up.
Either way, Quaritch was gonna hit his shots. Grace ran out of plot armor…
I love how there’s absolutely no lock on that door that could potentially kill everyone
Its not like it opens into a vacuum. As long as you have masks at hand its unlikely to actually kill anyone. Mans clearly just doesn’t skip peg day.
Lmaoooo
That should be an emergency escape door for quick escape.
James can't put this scene in and not making me root for the Quaritch

Avatar 2: General Quaritch, good work sir 👏
The look of disgust on the Colonel's face 😂
"You gonna shoot me?"
"I can do that."
Why did she say that to him? Makes no scene.
Shut your Pie Hole
What an EPIC. My favorite scene? Seeing Sigourney Weaver running in an Action movie. Just floored
Love the gun designs in this movie. Looks something straight out of Halo.
Grace: Or what Ranger Rick?!? You gonna shoot me??
Quarritch: I can do that
Also Quarritch: after 2:06
Fr
Grace was shot just like (spoilers so read at your own risk) Neteyam. They were both shot while trying to escape from the bad guys.
You know a movie sucks when instead of rooting for the alleged “good guys” you root for the “bad guy” who in the case of this movie, was actually the good guy.
It’s a choice between what’s right and wrong: And you must do what you feel is really right, of course.
2:07-2:24 Someone at Hasbro has to make Nerf blaster replicas of those RDA guns.
Sir, we've got a situation here... reminds me of Austin Powers lol
what he should have said in the end: "get some scorpions in the air and blast them out of the sky!"

Quaritch doesn’t take any prisoners alive.
If I was working there I'd be worried that a door keeping the oxygen in room could be kicked open so easily.
Especially with Quaritch as your CO! haha
I like how fast the female marine reacted to them stealing the gunship. Almost instantly.
Her screen lit right up and she was ready
Ik it’s kind of a nitpick but they technically aren’t marines, I mean they are in the sense that they served in the Corps but in this movie they work for a company called Sec Ops, making them more like PMCs
Personally I hate the film because a guy betrays his species because he got laid and fights against his species, dooming millions to death.
It doesn't matter how long they were trying to negotiate, the planets resources were not theirs to mine or take.
The native population didn't even claim ownership, they lived in harmony with the planet which is why the planet was still good and healthy whereas earth was a crumbling mess. Again you are straw manning Jakes motivation to 'ass' 😂 ffs
Jake was just happy he got to use his pecker again and that's why he didn't do his job and why he betrayed his species and committed more to genocide than the colonel ever did.
You're just unhappy you're white savior has been shown to be a selfish asshole who did both sides a disservice.
Aw, didn't realize the colonel's revolver cylinder doesn't move.
It’s hard to notice, but it does. He moves the gun as the cylinder rotates, and I didn’t catch that at first.
Trudy help her friends to escape the base
"Yeah, you know what that is. DOWN." Bad bitch Trudy and all her glory. Rip:/
There should be a case study on this guy for badassery!
Lang should be the next Ross in the mcu since we lost William Hurt
Did Hells gate really not have any sort of anti air weapons to shoot them down with? Especially since the Na’vi were known for using flying creatures
Quaritch doesn’t seem to care much about breathing.. Almost as if he isn’t human…
But rather a human *CLONE* of the _real_ Quaritch?!!!!! 🤯
are you saying the Na'vi don't breath?
Joe theinfant that really makes sense I mean the technology they are using is very advanced maybe it was possible to make a human clone like him.

Colonel is smart. He's not breathing while shooting his enemies.
He has no time to breath in this situation, this is a Pandora rule !
The reason i rewatch this because there are 2 Mountains in white snow
I was bummed about Grace's death
I really hate the Protagonist he betray Mankind...
True dat. As if a Mega Corporation and Human Government couldn`t nuke the place from Orbit and let Robots do the Mining. Or do it clean via a genetically modified bioweapon which only kills the Locals, but not Humans. Like common, he did not think this trough. Neither side is completely bad or good. Modern Civilisation is greedy and traditional ones savages. Barbarism will aways be there, this Movie just was black and white with zero nuances. Ironically their little revolt may have doomed them to certaindeath if this were not a simple hollywood story but the real world...See every colonization ever.

Yeah he's the villain... But you ask any service member, if they had a CO like this.... They would follow him anywhere...
So I understand that there would’ve probably had to have been SOME time to do pre-flight checks both visually and physically starting the ship
But like, could Trudy have just waited like 1 SINGULAR minute when the rest of them were boarding the rotorwing before she decided to fire up the engines and essentially paint a very loud “HEY IM ABOUT TO FLY OFF WITH MULTIPLE CAPTURED POW’S” Target on them
Just seemed like a very small yet simple common sense thing I don’t get in this part. (And yes I know they were on camera but at least maybe there was a shot the camerawoman wasn’t doing her due diligence before a blaring “UNAUTHORIZED ENGINE START” probably got here to look right at them.😂😂
