Canyon Torque 2023 | Behind the scenes

- Fresh cuts for 2023: the Canyon Torque freeride mountain bike is back and offers more mullet wheel size options than ever before. Let´s have a look behind the scenes and find out what makes the Torque one of the favourite bikes of CLLCTV riders Sam Pilgrim, Kaos Seagrave and Thomas Genon.
What's that mullet, you ask? Well, it's a killer combination of a fast-rolling 29" wheel up front, taking care of business, and a rowdy 27.5" wheel in the back, keeping the party going - "Business in the front, party in the back". And here's the exciting news for 2023: every single Torque model will be available with this mixed wheel size. Mullet wheels give you the best of both worlds and cater to a wide range of riders. The big 29" wheel up front provides better rollover, improved stability at high speeds, and a larger contact patch for superior traction. Meanwhile, the smaller 27.5" wheel in the back brings increased agility, better maneuverability in tight corners, and ensures you won't buzz the rear wheel when you're hanging off the back on steep sections.
While the focus is on mullet bikes, fear not, our one-wheel-size purist friends. There will still be options available for you. The Torque 6 will be offered with a full 27.5" setup, perfect for all you die-hard shredders out there. And for those of you determined to ride as fast as humanly possible over the gnarliest terrain, the Torque CF 7 and CF 8 will have full 29" versions to satisfy your need for speed.

I have an AL6 model and jesus, I love this bike!
Me too bro. It's awesome
Torque is the best bike in world! Thanks Canyon! Freeride or Die!
Idk man the yt capra is a monster and a little better imo .and a lot of reviews but the torque is nasty and I love them both ..I'd love to own both tbh
I have the al5 mullet . Cant be more happy with it. Been to Saalbach/hinterglemm, Morzine,LesGets, avoriaz. And loved every minute
The "new" full 29 CF8 looks quite great!
So this is basically the ultimate mtb.
Also I was wondering if the torque 5.0 mullet would be returning to the store. I’ve been looking at it for a while now.
don't get me wrong. i ride torque myself and i love the bike. but this is not a behind the scenes. this is just a well made product commercial with nice riding scenes.
How does the torque works climbing uphill?
@@homepage92I rented a torque for a week and they climb pretty good,
You guys make awesome bikes, I purchased my 1st canyon this year and now I want to buy all of them 😂
Incroyable le vélo
Waiting on mine 👊🏼👊🏼🔥
I have had the torque cf9 29 for two seasons in thredbo. I'll be honest, I do love the bike, but also I am on my third frame. Although, Canyon's warranty is really easy and quick lol.
What happened to them? Where did they crack?
@@owenbirch6188 Same story for me. CF7 27,5, two years of ownership and third frame already. Both previous frames cracked around the BB, which then started moving slightly. But we`ll see, maybe third time is really the charm.
@@michalsebela2646 putting me off getting one now
@@owenbirch6188 there was a defect with the bottom bracket. Canyon has re-engineered the frame since for all of there current bikes so should be fine.
My 2 Frame arrived me Last week 😂
Sooo epik awesome beautiful bike lovet ❤
had a torque 7. It was such a blast to ride
Need green color for the al Model
So they upgraded the travel from 170 to 180 and changed the color scheme just beautiful I was thinking about getting the torque as my next bike glad I waited
Hope you guys learned one or two things from this video!
Always a pleasure working with canyon 🤙

I❤my Torque - best Enduro allrounder

How can I get sponsored?
I have 3 friends that own a canyon bike, 2 spectral and the last one own a torque 2022. All of them broke the frame... I have a stoic so i would like it won't appen😂
Lol I have a stoic too, so far so good,.it's bomb proof
I have the spectral AL 6 and it’s great for me did they have alloy or carbon frames ? I’ve ridden my bike and put it through the ringer and it has never once failed me
Maybe all of them are too fat for the bikes. 😂
@@topchoice1621 all of them got AL frame
@@hubblemaxx hahaha no they are not over 75 kg
👍👍👍
the bike itself its fantastic!
just be aware of cheap and poor plastic upper headset compression ring. That part keep snapping into pieces.. Canyon please FIX it
so. I have a question. For example, a 27.5 bike with a medium frame and a 29 bike with a medium frame. Is the frame size the same or is different because of the wheel size?
Yes, the geometry of the frame is different. Feel free to check the geometry chart of each model on the bikes page.
“Capable, light and fun enough to pedal around and play” I love non motorized bikes😎
I want that bike so hard, but i dont have the money haha :(
Hey i love canyon❤
I really want the "new" torque cf7 mullet, i was looking at the 22' one but never got it
Buy 27 or 29“ i hate my mullet
@@SoftairJamwhy do u hate it bro? Thinking about going for the mullet
@@sicksixsiX_ yes i hate it
@@SoftairJam I am asking why 😁 can you tell me?
@@sicksixsiX_ I jump the bike a lot, it feels very weird in the air and like a tank on the trails with the 29” in the front. I've now installed a double bridge (27 inch). It's a little bit better. In addition to the bad driving feeling, the frame has now also broken.
If there just would not be the disbalanced ride in L and XL... 😜
Hi boss, can I have one of his bikes for me?
I broke my Torque AL 6 😢
I was really interested in the full 27.5 but..... then I realized I only ride in Alpine bike parks and since this bike was made for Whistler or Queenstown I figured I had to pass.... 💩
Why?
❤
