This video shows the sound of both resonated and non-resonated Milltek cat-back exhausts on our shop Audi B9 A4 Quattro. Both offer an improvement over stock sound with a noticeable difference in tone. All sound clips were filmed in Dynamic mode.
Milltek engineers took on the task of finding the perfect balance between maximum performance increase and a responsible noise level in each and every system, to appeal to enthusiasts of all levels. All products are direct replacements for factory exhaust systems, meaning no modifications are required for proper fitment.
This cat-back exhaust system is manufactured of a 2.76" T304 anti-magnetic stainless steel that is less susceptible to discolouration when compared to other systems found on the market. This quality T304 stainless steel is used on all of the pipework including the construction of the mufflers and resonators. Mandrel bending ensures full flow bends for better exhaust gas flow and Milltek systems are increased in bore to ensure the ultimate performance without the loss of mid-range torque.

From what I can tell, I think the resonated exhaust sound better when shifting. The DGG "farts" sound a lot crisper and sounds more like a quick "prap" and with the non resonated exhaust it sounds more like the fart sound and like an extended "prap" sound. Non resonated sounds a bit too raspy and tinny. Although the resonated is quieter than the non resonated, it has an iverall better sound.

@@noligrutas Yes compared to the Oem version 100% more sound. But you need to drive it Hot to be loud as it can. Best one for Legal driving in Germany.
Does it drone when driving in the city or on the highway?
@@matthijsdebruyn7133 Yes a little bit if you go low rpm with more gas. But its acceptable.

That DSG fart it so cute on this car LOLis it me or does the acceleration/revs go up quicker with less and less restriction?Ill definitely be going the Resonated milltek, its quiet and doesn't sound ricey. Sadly 4cyl just almost always sound so bad with non restrictive exhausts :(

What does the non-resonated model should like at highway speed and normal city driving at > 2000 RPM?
Just me or did the stock actually sound quite good in comparison to the Resonated and Non-resonated. yes less drama, but more refined with an air of drama around it

I’m disappointed with the sound of my stock B9. It’s just too quiet... If I had to choose I’d go for resonated.

Those little toots sound like a duck call. Good sound though. I'm getting a non-resonated catback on my GTI. It's a manual so I won't get those little DSG farts.

The cabin view shots were sad. Very minimal difference in sound and I love my manual transmission

I was also waiting for a comparison without the cat and just a straight pipe and also a comparison with the exhaust manifold completely removed. LOL
With the HFC that you have would you recommend the resonated or semi resonated for a good sound but no drone?

The Audi B9 A4 catalytic converter is right after the turbo. This system goes almost all the way to the turbo, but leaves the factory cat in place.
