Seriously these are by far the best TRX Videos on youtube. I mean come on man he works on them daily. he knows what he is talking about add that to the passion he has for the truck = quality content that we can count on .. and out here in California we cant count on shit ! love the videos Tyler
Didn't know the TRX lean can be fixed at the dealer free of charge! Will take the beast to get fixed. Thanks for this useful information, awesome review as usual, 10/10.
I bet if the CEO's and other C-suite's pay/bonus was deducted for every quality issue found on their products, these Stellantis products would be Toyota-tier level of quality.
Thank you! I wasn't really in love with the pictures online but seeing the color in person it is an awesome truck! Congrats on the new truck and thanks for the view!
My ‘22 F150 had a cable tie not fastened behind the glovebox and some door seals weren’t pushed on all the way, the front wheel alignment was not done right at the factory, the interior side mirror caps rattled right off the dealer lot, and a piece of insulation under the bed over the exhaust is starting to fall off which are both known issues on the forums. I had a new Subaru with a broken fuse box cover, a new Nissan with seat heaters miswired from the factory and a host of other electrical issues. Brand new Toyota’s have wheels falling off of them. It’s good to have videos like this cataloging known issues on new vehicles since manufacturers can’t be bothered to do final quality assurance checks on things before they get shipped out.
Hi just bought a used 22 TRX in orange Man I love this truck and get a lot of compliments on it even The police in town give me a thumbs up . I'm not noticing the Lean so maybe it was taken care of . But so far in NJ I haven't seen another orange package yet but I've been looking for This particular color for a year . I traded in a 1320 Sinamon stick 2020 challenger and a 15 Ram ignition orange for this truck .
One small issue I had on my truck was this piece of fabric on the passenger seat that just didn't want to clip into place finally with enough force it was clicked into place.
Hey Tyler, wow, $101,000 is a lot of money for a truck but that's the world in which we live now!!! I do think that the color is really cool. Thanks for sharing another informative video!!! 👍👍🙂
Mine was tagged to be audited at the factory.. it was tagged special handle unit, then went through extensive audit and test drive at the factory.. it had the drivers door repainted then it wasn’t a good match and they hung a new door at the factory I pick it up in few days from the dealer and can’t wait I have lots of pictures of it on the assembly line and pictures of the computers at the factory with my vin number showing the progress
I would love a trx but just ain’t gonna happen. I have a 21 crew cab warlock very happy with. No issues yet. Nock on wood. Just makes u think how much other stuff is missed deeper in where nobody can’t see till it’s too late. I’ll keep wishing for the orange trx . Good video thx.
Great job. Now please do the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. I'm on the fence with it due to all the issues since 21 with the new platform. However the 4xe seems intriguing. What are your thoughts?
I thought for some reason that was streetspeed717’s TRX for a second haha. Then I was gonna say here goes Tyler Potter on his way to superstardom surpassing Raitis rides haha
As someone that’s looking at purchasing 1 of these things it’s nice to know what to look for to prevent issues. Can I have the dealership put the truck on a lift to look for these possible problems before I take delivery of it?
I would hope a dealership would be cool with a customer inspecting a new truck but I unfortunately can't speak on another dealerships willingness to do that. I know that I love talking with other TRX owners at our shop! Thanks for the view!
Should have left the bead locks alone they're the best looking wheel from the factory on any TRX...painting them all black only dulled them down and looks drab and dull IMO.....Great info though gotta go check mine out especially the fluids and trans line.
I will be picking up my TRX soon and driving it 500 miles home. Would that be safe to do that, if the dealer didn't check the oil levels and it's half way full?
It will be totally fine even if it is a little low on the drive home. I would assume 90% of the TRX's on the road currently are still running with the low factory fluid. Thanks for the view!
i never liked the black along the bottom of the doors ..a deal breaker.. or the two color wheels.. big improvement ..my 1997 ram leaned now i know why ..
I know nothing about Dodge trucks. I know Chevy 6.2 has lifter issues. I know Raptor can have Cam Phaser issues. What is reliability like of this truck and engine?
So far the hellcat engine has been really bulletproof (even though mine did have an issue lol) they have been out since 2015 and we have yet to replace one at the shop. Thanks for the view!
P.S. word of advice, never approach the peak of a sand dune head on. Always at an angle to avoid your predicament and to enable you to see what’s on the other side if you drive along the ridge before committing to going over it.
I personally haven't had much body alignment issues on the trucks yet. Hopefully your dealership bodyshop can get it adjusted for you. Thanks for the view!
Hey man thanks for the info! I am supposed to be signing to order one tomorrow, but I need it not to have tons of issues, I am just a nurse so I can't afford for this thing to suck and just buy another one. Should I probably avoid it?
@@TylerPotter how do I bring up the diff issue to the techs, without passing them off, should I just be like hey bro I hear most of these diffs come from the factory half full, do you mind checking them?
How about the chipmunk/chirping sound that RAM says is normal from the cats? Does that one also make that sound? Everyone I talk to says it is normal on ALL of them, yet some do not make the sound. Mine makes it at idle whether it is warmed up or not... No one seems to be talking about it for people that are considering purchasing one.
@@manlandmedia I believe some of the guys that have put the long tube headers on have reduced or eliminated the noise but I personally have not heard a truck with headers on it to confirm one way or the other

A few places where you can order them for 5% under MSRP if you still want one. Join the TRXForum.com and you will find the dealerships offering the under MSRP prices. You have to order and you have to wait. But my 2022 fully loaded was $88K out the door. Cheers!
You guys have all gotten too comfortable with quality issues on these vehicles that is $100,000 truck there shouldn’t be a damn thing wrong with it and if there is it should’ve never left the factory that way stop excepting crumbs when you’re the one paying for the whole loaf of bread
You couldn't give me a 2022+ Tundra. I refuse to own a truck with anything less than a V8. These junk engines they are putting in now will not and are not lasting. Only the ignorant and city boys are buying them.

Yes new left side springs get installed, this video should explain the repair. Thanks for the view!

It is great to have someone who actually works on these trucks give a heads up for what to look for. Great video.
Thanks! I am impatiently waiting for our 1st 2023 in the shop so I can look it over also! Thanks for the view!
Thanks for the informative video. I pickup my sandblast next week and will inform the dealer what to look for before I drive off the lot. New sub!!

Have you seen many rear window water leaks on the TRX trucks? Ive had 3 newer GM trucks and they all leak and is why i want to leave Gm for a TRX.
Thank you, sir! I'll hopefully be taking delivery of my 22' this month. Subbed for more insights like this video had!

Who do you know who would inspect a new truck in South Florida? RHO is coming. I am a little nervous.
Wow. I'm kinda' glad I can't afford one. The irony...
They really aren't "big" issues just kind of annoying lol Thanks for the view!

Can you see the fluid level on the transfer case?
Hey Tyler thanks for the video. Which dealer do you work at?
Just one of the dealers here in Wichita KS. Thanks for the view!
Thank you, do you know what the problem is when pulling out it feels like a delay also when braking to a complete stop. If like the axle sits loose
This sounds like the rear drive shaft clunk issue see the video here ua-cam.com/video/Jsxwmqu86a0/v-deo.htmlsi=Ukw402W2inywNgCs

I ordered a 2023 last Friday... Not sure when the order will be accepted yet I'm ready for a Ram in lieu of a Raptor.
