Diesel vs Ev from LA to NY towing 10,000 lbs. How much to replace the engine vs battery pack? Can you find a electrician to work on your EV in less than two months?
This guy is just looking at Andre like....Jesus SMH. As he should.
Well this is not a good comparison, its the stock lightning which has like 440hp of course it wpuld lose tp the TRX. U guys have tested a TRX vs lightning before and i guess it was the higher output lightning since yall smoked the trx 🤷🏻♂️ im just saying wouldve been a nice comparison higher output lightning vs modded trx.
15k for 37 pack???? Ouch!!!! The Raptor R will smoke these turds
He’s brake torquing the Lightning.. There’s instant torque in an EV.
Fair is to test at all altitudes, so it's good to see how ICE suffers when there is less air. It is obvious the EV is more consistent and it sounded like there was a traction issue with the Lightning based on the comments in the video. So I guess to make it fair you change the tires on the F-150? :)
It is obvious this was to show how much better the TRX can be at sea level and when you mod the truck.
Nice ad for the dealer.
@@CraigMatsuura Unmodified TRX easily beat the Ford EV at sea level. Modified TRX easily beat stock TRX at sea level. Anything with a Supercharger will perform better wherever the air is more dense - be it at higher altitudes in the cold, or at sea level in the heat.
So no upgraded brakes to stop all that power ??
The lightning was braking before the finish.
You know what happen when you have sponsored material 🤷🏻
Legitimate question: Do TRX trucks require a break in period of gentle driving? Is that a thing anymore? I haven't bought a new vehicle in quite a while.
First 500 miles is the break in.
I live in ankeny Iowa and I love granger motors
I mentioned before that the TRX closer to sea level would beat that f150 lightning
Next challenge the Lightning in a race from there to Los Angeles, staying with the legal limits of course.
Would be cool if you had timers in both cars that race. If the Tyrant 37 did a 12.79 then the tyrant that race that look like it did a lot better than a 12.6. Would have liked to have seen what it ran in that run.
Very cool, love seeing the modified stuff!
oh yea!
Would love to see the speed of the extended range work truck. Lighter weight same HP
Yeah, plus the ev was not getting traction. Stock for stock was close.
Do one with a deleted and tuned 6.7 Cummins with upgrades also!
Still won't beat a rivian
Ah Ha!
Yes a non-battery real engine smoked an all electric vehicle.
Awesome review!!
Still not the quickest stock truck though.
Was that Lightning the high capacity one?
These are my favorites next to the Ike Gauntlet
LOL almost as fast as a tuned Gen 14 ecoboost, Ram you still have a way to go to touch a whippled coyote.
