The habit of being ok section of the video was a real wake-up call for me. I just finished my bachelor's degree, but I feel like I took a step backward regarding personal development. I feel less together than when I started college and overall more lost. Hearing the section about how healthy habits eventually build the habit of being alright in general made me realize that in the course of buckling down for studies for the last few years, I've stopped engaging in the things that helped me to be alright in life. As cheesy as it is, this video was a reminder that to do well, I have to be well, and to be well I have to slowly work on developing healthier habits again. The only person in the way of that is me, and now I just need to learn how to rebalance myself. Awesome job on the video dude, it's great to have you back.
I'd love to take credit but Haikyu is the real genesis of that thought. In fact, it did the same thing to me, as it did to you - it reminded me that to be okay I have to place myself in the position to be okay. "Rebalance" is such a "right on the mark" way to describe it, just getting lost in your work, thoughts, and daily monotony - you forget to do the basic things without which you just literally feel worse (or at least I did/do), and you need to start inching back to the healthy side of your day-to-day. What's real hard is actually taking that to heart and working on those habits, that's for me anyway. But I'm sure we'll all get there sooner rather than later. With that said it's 10:15 PM for me and I still haven't had dinner, so I'm gonna get up and go make myself something. Thank you, it feels great to be back.
That Hikaru Shinda Natsu ref when talking about love? Yes. Yes that. Great video, makes wanna get my act toguether and cultuvate good habit and create a good life.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and putting them together to create this video. I didn't expect it since this is the first video of yours that I've ever seen, but it has helped me process the complicated emotions I had for this part of the story (and why i felt so deeply about it). Please keep creating, you have a new subscriber 😊
0:49 did this guy completely forget what love for volleyball did to Sukis older brother? The “it made him tell pointless lies” and how much that effected sukis arc? I’d argue that’s a great depiction of how love for something can lead to bad decisions
I'd say there are a few different elements that made Suki's brother lie. The catalyst for the whole thing, in my opinion, is him wanting to be a cool older brother and using the thing they both like/love as a medium for that. But I can see what you mean, maybe I did miss something there. To support your point tho one thing that was an unmistakable sacrifice we saw before Brazil, was something with Bokuto. There are like 2 pages (in chp 335) of him being too intense in his training and his teammates badmouthing him and then leaving him to run alone. I had a whole recorded thing about it but decided to cut it for time. So in a way, you're def right, there are some sacrifices we see before the last leg of the story. But still, I'd say the most significant and fleshed-out sacrifice is Shoyo going to Brazil.
@@bakaboysclub thank you for the fleshed out reply! I definitely agree that sacrifices are depicted brilliantly in this manga m. The characters are so truely alive and I get that some might say that Everyone’s love & commitment for the sport isnot realistic but isn’t it? Loving something that much can truly bring the best out of someone and although love can be twisted it’s still pure in nature and I think the manga shows that loving something can mean giving your all and everything you have to it and how well that can be rewarded. I do think Hintas ability to lock in and stick to the hood he’s done is inspiring but my favorite part about his character is his pure and contagious passion that can be felt by others. His “Aura” is unmatched in that department
Thank you, thank you. I'm still waiting to dive into Trigun or Kekkai Sensen I know they're both great and I love every little thing I've seen on Trigun. W that said I adore this game for the ps2 called Gungrave. The character desines were made by Yasuhiro Nightow and the Trigun parallel is obvious... so I guess I have that appreciation for his works.
I can't promise that but I recommend two of my favorites this is what inspired me and almost made me give up making my video, because it couldn't be as good as this - ua-cam.com/video/LrTdPefqZlg/v-deo.html this one is just a personal favorite about Haikyu - ua-cam.com/video/Da1nZ1VysQY/v-deo.html
