I own a 2004 silver birch with just over 49,000 miles and in mint condition. These were hands down the best panther platform cars built behind the Lincoln town car.
This a beauty. I just saw one of these on the road and I had to look it up! I want one on these, I'm huge fan of this Ford platform body and this car has power too, can't go wrong
im proud to say i own one of these babies but with the dark gray leather interior... not a fan of the french vanila in an all black mean looking car...
You are correct. Dark Pearl Blue available in 2003 only. 328 made. Dark Toreador Red available in 2004 only. 980 made. Black and silver available in both years.
The 2V version of this car is the Crown Vic LX "sport". Comes with the monochromatic paint scheme, watt's link suspension, buckets and floor shifter, 17 inch wheels and factory duals and they were available back to 2001. Still want one today. The Marauder was kind of disappointing because it has like no low end power. I have driven all kinds of 4V cars and SUVS and the Marauder was by far the least snappy with regular driving. The Crown Vic sport is much more entertaining.
Not really if you have a LX sport like I do it is literally The Marauder before the marauder has the exact same centershift black leather interior mine is rear spoiler it looks just like a Marauder I think it's way better though less problems the marauder
This was posted right around the bottom of the market for these. You could still find a good amount of them on autotrader and at bargain prices. No more.

This is the best review I have ever heard you say on this channel. No nasty comments or vulgarity it's a breathe of fresh air not hearing you talk like that.
I have had a 98 Lincoln Mark 8, an 04 Crown Victoria P71, and now a 2011 Crown Victoria P71. The 32 valve 4.6 is great WHEN it is running correctly. These motors are NOT reliable, and parts are very expensive. Mercury/Ford should have put a high performance 5.4 or a low boost 4.6 turbo in these cars. BTW: Your reviews are awesome.
It's supposed to be a 4.6L DOHC 32-valve engine in the standard Mercury Marquis, Lincoln Town Car, and Crown Victoria since 1998, and a 5.4L DOHC 4V engine in the Mercury Marauder. They had plenty of options to update this platform, but Ford for no apparent reason let these cars die. Without any updates.
PANTHER PLATFORM my friend, not Panther Fram Super nice car tho I'm jealous. I have the 2011 Lincoln Town Car Signature L. It's the one 6" longer in back seat. I have to black mine out. I have black on black
You, sir, must have one of the best Panthers. I've got an 05 Signature black on black, but I'm looking for any 08+ Signature L for the benefit of ethanol 😂
i like it and I cannot understand why Mercury and Ford do not make smaller american cars for Europe. This Marauder in a lighter version could have sold in Europe in 2OO3. Do they ever listen to their custommers?
Crown Vic LX sport is very similar engine is different but interior is almost the same it has air bag suspension as well as some other things lot of people do not know about the LX sport VIC.. Marauders are one-of-a-kind though
Pretty much the same engine, minus different horsepower ratings over the years, but it's the 2003-04 Cobra Mustang with the supercharged engine that only came with the forged crankshaft. All other normally aspirated engines came with high nodular iron cranks.

Love it.
@@Photog455 you both lucky I want one so bad
Some people say the Impala SS is better, cheaper maintanance, but I cant imagine it drives better than a marauder
Thanks for this one, Bill.. Mercury's answer to the Impala SS of the mid 90s.. Very nice!
I thank the United States to making these legendary cars 🇸🇦
It was actually built in Canada. But it could not have been conceived and designed by anyone *but* an American.
Yeah in my opinion America is the best of producing cars
It is without any competition
😎❤
I’m French but I lived 6 months here in the US and... God is this car sick! Love it 😍
you still watch reviews kiddo?
Bill what a beauty. I chuckled when you said

Ramiro DY well done 👍
I have the same and I love it. I’ve had people flag me down just to ask about it.

I see one for sale and I want it bad.. literally a dream car as an 18 year old..
Nice car and great shape its in. I wish I had the money to get it and I am sure its sold by now. Thumbs up liked for you.
They offered a dark blue in late 2003 as well.
You are correct. Dark Pearl Blue available in 2003 only. 328 made. Dark Toreador Red available in 2004 only. 980 made. Black and silver available in both years.

Marauder is the best Crown Victoria ever made.
Love the interior!
The White leather is rare, they only made 125 of those. I don’t think this salesman knew what he had or we would have bought it himself.

Ford's version of the Impala SS/Caprice. Imitation is the greatest for of flattery.

You meant the LX Sport Crown Vic...I have one.
Thats bull shit and you know it
Alex J. Murphy Not Really An Imitation As Imposed To A Competitor. That SVT Was Pumping Out 302HP It Just Was A Heavy Panther Body.
hopefully he still have this car.

How much did go for? Just thought I'd ask even though it 2024.
Different size wheels/tires, front/back.
Just so you know that’s a 2004 marauder not a 2003. The 2003 has a separate clock on the dash and a locking fuel door
Do they have a link for this company?
Is it still for sale?
I want one:(((
Cool cool car.
That’s a 2004 by the way. Lack of clock in plastic under the radio; and a non-locking gas filler door. You’re welcome. 🇨🇦👍🏼
There were some 2003's that didn't have the clock.
