You know, after being told the story of a current F3 driver that was in the same school as mine (3 grades ahead of me), I really have to appreciate how far you have made it as a driver. According to my friend who was in the same grade as him, he had tons of absences then became homeschooled in 7th grade to focus more on his driving career. After sacrificing his entire education and making it to F3, he is regularly qualifying and finishing 2/3 down the grid despite showing huge potential prior to F3 in his career (he had 27 F3 race starts and scored 0 points). FYI, name is Hunter Yeany

He showed potential before f3 because he practiced a whole year before entering the f4 championship the following year. With lots of training, in lower categories it’s easy to hide your true level.

It looks to me like there aren’t that many opportunities to make passes on this track, hence qualifying and tyre life would kind of make or break one’s race…

Seems like a hard track for anyone to really gain an advantage on. Gradually seeing those higher and higher finishes though with every race.

Are there track limit penalties for kicking them over (Or are there even Track Limits in the Porsche Cup)?
You get penalized with damage to the car if you hit these tyre stacks

Hi Dirk, nice race, I also have on acc tonight 2 for 30 minutes, I wanted to ask you, on the simulator the 992 tends to jump a lot on the curbs of the 2S, there is not much adjustment in the setup apart from anti roll bars rear wing and heights from the ground, leaving out convergences and cambers, how do I make the car less dancing. From your video it seems that it doesn’t break down much when the two S passes

while youre braking are you applying a tiny amount of gas before you heel-toe shift (idk if that made sense, best i can word it)? when i look at your throttle, theres always a tiny amount being applied

btw, is the telemetry not calibrated, or you actually holding a tad bit of throttle with breaks?
I had the same question, apparently they hold throttle with the brakes so the back end doesnt pop out, the brake bias im pretty sure is toward the rear and that i believe causes the car to get unstable in the rear so throttle is held to keep the rear of the car stable under braking
How sore does your back get after a race weekend of attacking those curbs?
Hey Dirk what is the average weight of these race cars? If the info is classified i understand..
Just advice, i(we) appreciate you want to give us full experience of the footage, you must know your safety come's first, if something can cause a dangerous for you get rid of it and focus for the race, your health is the most important 👍
