I used my KitchenAid Pasta Extruder for the first time, and this is what happened!

    This was a great tutorial for this gadget. I have seen too many people make too much of an issue about this pasta maker. Excellent walkthrough.

    Not worth it. The only good thing about that extruder is the built in pasta cutter. I have a Simac extruder. No need to hand knead dough. Perfect every time and much faster. I can do about 2 lbs of pasta in less than 15 minutes. However iI do love the kitchen aid pasta roller cutter 3 piece set. Couldnt live without it. Expensive but very well worth it.

      I tried to use an electric pasta extruder years ago without any luck. I know a lot of people who have them and really love them. It was good to hear your opinion and results!
