Thank you for the shout-out. It was great meeting you today. You're a legend 👏. We enjoyed the event, a bit short of trams/buses but good day overall. We only left at 5pm.
We love Blackpool and the surrounding areas. Thanks for your advice, too, on microphones. You're the only one who's advised us on them despite me asking other youtubers.
Fantastic Video Steve I Enjoyed I Like The Tram Sunday There Will Be No Great Dorset Steam Fair This Year😢 There Is Two Boat Trams Here In The US One At National Capital Trolley Museum In Washington DC And Another One On The Muni In San Francisco 😊 Have A Great Night
I missed Fleetwood and loved to visit one day..Great video showed Fleetwood still remain the same as the good old English days..The old trams have the same colours with green and yellow..thanks once again Stephen for the enjoyable video.
That was a great walk about Steve, Here's one for you, Tram up to Fleetwood then a bit of a walk around the headland past the old P&O place on Dock St, be interesting to see if the car park is still there growing weeds.
Busy day there In Fleetwood. Was watching The Blackpool Lads from there earlier on. Loads of old classic cars. I heard on the Wetherspoons website they were looking at closing the pub there.
Loved the old green and cream trams running up and down Blackpool seafront. We holidayed there in the 70's and 80's great times. Used to take the tram from Pleasure beach to Fleetwood for a trip.
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always what a lovely event love the heritage trams totally amazing looked very busy too a great turnout have a great day xx
Great stuff Stephen. I’ve been re-introduced to Blackpool via your videos and had a few impromptu trips recently. Had the pleasure of meeting Chris on one occasion and it made my day.
Hi Stephen, another great video! I really enjoyed it. It was lovely to see everyone having such at good time at Fleetwood Tram Sunday. We missed it last year as it was cancelled and couldn't go this year as we are travelling down to Cornwall in our motor home on the 22nd. Maybe we'll catch it next year. Thank you Stephen, see you next time.xxxx
Wow, awesome video! Fleetwood knows how to put on a wonderful festival. It’s so nice to see people enjoying themselves and just having fun. I truly miss the UK festivals and relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much for bringing us along.
Shame you didn't mention the memorial near the mother and child statue that lists all the seafarers that were lost at sea. It brought tears to my eyes reading the names of the fishermen that never returned.
Thanks for another lovely video. The weather is ok down here, apart from last night with the rain. I'm here until Saturday so hoping to catch a glimpse of you. Sat at the beach wall for an hour watching the sea fantastic 😊
Hi Stephen. Great video from Fleetwood. love to see all the old trams. Thank you very much for your lovely interesting walk around. See you in your next video Mildred 👍🥰❤️
Thanks for the video Stephen, do hope they have tram Sunday next year looks like a lot of fun for families. The bowling greens are something else and must take time to keep them so pristine. Love the old style trams, more character than the new ones and the open boat style is something else.😊😊😊
Was there at tram Sunday today, had a great time! Sun shining and people smiling, really uplifting 😊 ! Sorry we missed you, great video, keep them coming there fantastic!! Always learn a little bit of history without knowing 😄 x😊
Wow a Leyland Titan. I don't remember the red colour. I grew up in Baxenden ( Hollands Pies) near Accrington. We used Rossendale buses and Accrington Transport. These as I remember were Burgundy and Royal Blue and Red respectively. I remember some of the buses were Guy buses and Leyland buses. The red colour must have been Darwen town before, it was amalgamated into Blackburn with Darwen and became a Unitary Borough like Blackpool is.😮😊
Hi Stephen from Alan in Woodstock Ontario Canada..I had two uncles from Fleetwood, both fisherman who died in a storm in the north sea... nice video, cheers!
Nice one Stephen and what a nice change today to see an event in Fleetwood instead of the comedy carpet in blackpool. A pitty you didn't see Syd little.
Wasn't able to get to this year's event unfortunately, so many thanks for providing a top notch video record of the day's proceedings. Top work as usual!
I remember there being a double decker bus service from Manchester to Blackpool and back. A double Decker balloon tram is being restored at a tram musem at Heaton Park Manchester and also have a single decker Blackpool tram and it's running around on some installed a track in the park.
Hi Stephen thanks for giving us the atmosphere of the tram day, good to see it well supported... Did you get some fish and chips on your way home, until the next one...
Looked a great day there Stephen, plenty of people around and good weather too , thanks for taking us ,take care see you on your next vlog bye for now 😊
Evening Stephen, great video, we were there today, nice day out. Up at bispham for a week, weather seems to be turning out better than forecast. Why did they stop running the Fleetwood to isle of man ferry, asked this before (can anyone help), used to be a good day trip. Thanks mate, cheers.
As far as I know, it was docking fees. Heysham was half the cost. I'm sure there were other factors, too, but that would have been a fairly big nail in the coffin.
I can remember riding with my mum on the cream and green trams to Blackpool as a boy..The clock at the top end of Lord Street was called the four face liar as my mum used to say that every face was different...I wish my mum and dad were alive to see your videos Stephen..I thoroughly enjoy them and I say thank you for bringing back memories from my childhood...Thank you from Downunder..😎
What a brilliant event and hopefully the alan bradlely tram is fully restored for next year. You know times are tough when wetherspoons are closing down venues.
Thanks Stephen, great to see the old trams, especially 723. Looked a fun day all round. Sad about the shops that are closing, but from what I remember about Fleetwood when I visited there it did seem a very much the end of the line type of place, very quiet and not many people about. Great to see so many people turned out for tram Sunday.
We got there very early when things were just setting up on the way we passed the Darwin bus on the M55 also passed the mine pick up it was a bit disappointing because of the lack of vehicles l can remember when the were lots of different types my son got Fred Diana's autograph when he came with his traction engine hopefully things will get better for the next one
I think you mean Fred Dibnah. I think you are being a little unfair. There were still over 120 vehicles there and the main reason there were that number instead of a few more as there usually is, was that many vehicle owners, quite reasonably, after it was originally cancelled, will have entered another event and stuck with that one. For the organisers to get that number in just 2 months when it takes nearly a year to get maybe 200, is to me at least, nothing short of a mini miracle. The organisers who remember are ALL volunteers should surely be encouraged, not vilified.
Looks like Tram Sunday has gone quite a bit downhill since its heyday in the late 80s & early 90s. I used to go with a group who took at least 1 or 2 old buses, occaisionally more, but there didn't seem to be many, I only counted 3. There didn't seem to be many military vehicles either. I remember one of the last times I went, I heard stories that shopkeeper complained about buses and trucks parked on Lord Street blocking light from their premises. The following year all the buses were crammed into an area around the lighthouse and tram terminus, meaning that some vehicle exhibitors had to wait for others to move before they could leave, which wasn't well received by those who had brought their vehicless quite a distance and they bever entered vehicles again. From what I saw from the video the event is much more a fun fair rather than a transport festival. Regards, Ian Simpson.
Ian. Your comments are noted and knowing the new organisers, I shall certainly pass them on. I have to take issue with "crammed". The area was the widest area on the street and specifically chosen to be able to show these larger vehicles off to their best ability. What always annoys me as a former event organiser myself, is that when there's an issue with an event, the owners tell their mate in a pub, or at the next club meeting why they won't be going to such and such an event again and NEVER the organisers who not only should be who they tell, but who, if they are good organisers, actually WANT to hear the feedback, both good and bad. They dont want vehicle owners to be unhappy. Why would they? And these organisers ARE very good organisers. So I hope you will encourage bus owners to come back and they will be made most welcome.
Thank you for the shout-out. It was great meeting you today. You're a legend 👏. We enjoyed the event, a bit short of trams/buses but good day overall. We only left at 5pm.

Another great video Steven👍
thanks Stephen for another great video 🚞
Was great seeing you today keep the videos coming ❤
As a kiddie growing up in Stockport, the fish shop on our way up into the market had big signs on a lot of the fish - "fresh from Fleetwood"
Great video. Wetherspoons are closing about 80 pubs nationwide. It's all about profitability and sites that have big rents and running costs.
It was on our local news, Fleetwood. I'm in Manchester. Looked a bit too busy for my likening though. Great video Stephen 👍
Great video and great seeing you again today pal take care and keep the video coming
Thanks for covering our town of Fleetwood Stephen. The Radar Station is going to be a work/live place for the Leicester architect that bought it.

Great news apart form rock Blackpool is famous for the trams.
The best way to see all that Blackpool has to offer.
Absolutely love this one. We need more of these

I did do that in my Fleetwood vlog from a while back.
Thanks so much Stephen. Great walk around. Perhaps a little more tram focus would be good from the event organisers. Enjoyable non the less. 😊👍😯
