We're down several times a year, but unless the missus wants to go to Mecca, we're usually in bed by 9pm. Party animals! We did have a problem once with teenagers, but you're not allowed to banjo them. I had to keep my counsel. Do you remember when subway beside the castle was an open auction house flogging useless and dodgy gear?
the fps and smooth motion of this camera is amazing its honestly extremely hard to follow most channels when i have a 165hz monitor and it just stutters because their low fps so thank you !!!
60s 70s and 80s was my era i have so many great memories of Blackpool as a child, teenager, and adult. i personally think Blackpool has lost its family orientated appeal, but times do change and it's a case of bringing money in to help out the town.

As a kid I remember a amusement area in the winter gardens itself. Remember a car track ride (think it ended up on the pleasure beach in the kids area)also a ghost train etc. going back to the sixties here. Do remember a fair on (I think) where houndshill centre is now. Just seem to remember it being behind the tower (early 70s) must have been used after they demolished what was there originally. Might be wrong though.
I like your videos the best. I dont think Blackpool will ever be like it used to be. Nobody seems to realise all these hotels cannot afford to update these propertys. Surely somebody from the council see your videos.x

The taxi driver is right woth the law.. Still illegal. Any hand held device, dosnt have to be a phone. This is because oh im using my phone too video, covers the loophole so No hand held devices at all.

Yes I vaguely remember that bridge in the 70s..I've got photos with my mum and dad on it ,I would of been about 8/9 years old..late 70s
The Dukeries hotel used to be a very posh hotel, we stayed in there in the 80s, and it was lovely! such a shame to se it in that state

I've and my family have cleaned in C&A before it opened and cleaned the winter gardens back in early 90s
Its amazing that Blackpool can still support so many chippies with declining footfall. Tower mint as usual even though I'm not a footie fan !

Olympia used to house Professor Peabody's. It's opposite the new cinema on Coronation Street.
