A good solution. Personally, I use a Fusion-based template. Like my own solution this is a little fiddly: it's about time the DEVs came up with a straightforward way to do this, after all we've been wating a couple of decades!

A really great and creative way of creating end credits. I'm going to use your method for my short film!

Saves me time and allows for creativity with text and color. Thank you!

I wish I had found this a week ago. I spent far too much time doing it in fusion… grrr. Good trick!

I’m so glad you found it useful. It’s still not as good as in Premiere Pro, but it can be done without fusion 😉

I like your thinking on this very creative thank you. I agree with you that it is an area Black Magic should be encouraged to look at, it's as though this form of end credits has been ignored. Perhaps it is because major projects that require this form of end credit employ somebody to create them in another program. Perhaps there should be a separate titles tab or page, let's hope Black Magic are already working on it.

This is what I was already doing, but it's such a hack, I thought I must be very wrong, surely Resolve has a proper scroll Text tool.

They actually don’t. Not in the edit page, but it can for sure be done in the Fusion page. But it is a more complicated workflow.

Great work around! I'm new to editing and I really need to dive into Fusion, but I'm not there yet.

Thank you for watching. Yep, you’re right. Its version CS 5.5 of Premiere Pro I have on my machine now. I used to have the newest version, but I ditched Premiere Pro recently and have been using Davinci Resolve since. It’s way better and much more stabile IMO.
So the clip with PP was only to prove my point 😉
