ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?????? This was hands down the best instructional video I have ever seen. I always have a hard time remembering the various modes on my Black Diamond Storm light which I love very much but is a classic case of dumb design (as far as how to use the various modes, the instructions are a total joke with Black Diamond's comical illustrations..) Seriously though I wish EVERY company had instructional videos like your's. It shows you really care about the product's use and about the people who are going to buy it like ME. Most instructions are written by some tech writer who doesn't look at things from the point of the consumer. They are always written by someone who has an already strong familiarity of the product and henceforth always misses explaining key points. Not your video. I really can't say enough about it. AND THEN just as I was about to close the video early you add the lantern instructions on at the end and that absolutely sold me on your product. I work for REI and I can guarantee I will be advertising your light to every customer that comes into that store. GREAT JOB !

What a great headlamp. Light, powerful, holds a charge. I bought one for my hiking pack. Now I have one in my mt biking pack and my car, too!

This is the greatest headlamp of all time. Literally next level amazing. I've used this for just a day, and now I want to replace every headlamp my family uses to the BioLite 330. Awesome instruction video, and thanks for making a video instead of packing paper instructions with the product that would have become landfill instead.

Was considering returning mine but the pass-through charge is a very convincing feature, just might have to keep it for night treks longer than 3 hours.
Its my birthday soon. and all i wish for is this headlamp and the campstove 2! i crus my fingers that i will get it :D

My trip stared in Banff Canada, then I headed to the westcost all the way to LA. Then Las Vegas, salt lake city, Yellowstone, Denver, and then all the way to main in Rockport. Then I took my flight home in Toronto. The trip was done on motorcycle 😊
I used the biolite campstove almost everyday in the 2 months I was traveling. It was only when there was heavy rain I couldn't use it.
Is there a way to dim in the red mode? I sometimes do astronomy observing and we use red headlights. The standard red mode on the Black Diamond models sometimes are too bright but some are fine.
How long does it take to recharge? What is the battery life expectancy and can it ever be replaced?
Hello How is it possible to set the light to 5 lumen (40hrs low mode)? In regular usage I get around 2.5 hours or less time with this light using either the standard flood or spotlight

I'm considering buying one of these. Does anyone know if you can use regular batteries? I'm thinking of the scenario of backpacking and running out of battery power on the rechargeable batteries. I'd like to be able to switch over to regular batteries until I get access to an electrical plug to recharge.
Great question! Our headlamps do not use regular batteries at all, so there is not the ability to swap in regular batteries. We recommend carrying a small power bank (we offer three sizes of our Charge PD Series) to keep your headlamp, phone, and other essential electronics charged when on the trail.
