I'm going to install a drain valve on my X750 when I get to 50 hrs. here in about another month or so. The one I bought is a Fumoto F108SX. This model allows you to turn the drain in whatever orientation you choose. I have a different valve style from them on my 21 Ram with the Cummins and I love it!
Keep in mind the oil change isn’t at 50 hours if you didn’t know. The first is at 200 or a year. They have a valve specific to these or is it just anything with the same threads?
@JoshsGreenGarage any valve with M16-1.5 threads will work. They have several types available. I just chose this one because you can adjust the direction of flow when you install it. I just figured I'd change the oil and filter the same time as I did the transaxle fluid and filter. It's cheap insurance. You have any idea when your supposed to change the gearbox oil on the mower deck? I've looked in the owners manual and I can't see it listed anywhere?
Did it not say to fill to the top dot, i did mine a couple months back just could have swore it said the top dot s the full mark, i also understand it is just fine in-between the 2 dots
I’m not entirely sure, haven’t shimmed mine, nor do I intend to since I’m still in warranty. I would look on some forums or the X700 series Facebook page.
I just got an x495 with the 1.1L Yanmar and the owners manual recommended a 10w40, 10w30, or 5w30 engine oil with an API rating of SM which is a gasoline oil designation which I thought was quite odd considering it’s a diesel engine…your package came with 15w40 JD diesel oil so I’m thinking I’m gonna just put some Mobile 1 Delvac 1300 15w40 that I have in hand…it would seem that engines these days are using thinner and thinner oil…most diesels these days are recommending 10w30…I was on the forums and a lot of guys are just using the T6 5w40 Synthetic and calling it a day!…
Thanks for the info 😊

Every 25 hours lube spindles, driveshaft, wheels, lift arms. Every 100 check oil, and change every 500.

I just checked it, it only says to add the specified amount, then run it and adjust the amount in necessary.
I am ready for the fuel filter change, when are you? Removing the hood And other components Are of interest
Already done, just need to edit the video. Will be out soon!
Where do I insert the hydraulic shims on my x758

If you drink every bit of oil out you will use 3.4 quarts which includes filling the oil filter.
