It's funny how many reviewers say the SLAB while powerful and fun, isn't that competitive because lever is not competitive. Bullshit. The SLAB is highly competitive if you're capable of running a caliburn competitively. It's not as compact as a TC, so you do need to work with it to learn how to run one while tight against cover. But the lever action is very fast when you learn to work it, and of course the air system and spring compatibility absolutely makes this a midrange powerhouse on the field. You just have to learn a different manual of arms than standard pump action and top prime competition blasters. SLAB rocks! And it's even more fun than top prime and pump prime blasters.
Just received my Slab from Silverfox Industries. It was a joy to build and is even more fun to shoot. Running a K25 spring and is super accurate even without a scar or bcar. One of the most fun to play with blasters imo. If you're debating on getting one or making one, do it. You'll be all😁😁😁
Maybe my requirements for accuracy are too high, but my SLAB with K25 and 30cm barrel absolutely requires a scar otherwise it's unacceptably inaccurate, just like any other 200 fps springer.
SFI is absolutely worth the agonizingly long wait. I had to wait the full 6wks from order to order being shipped. Considering the quality of prints I got, I'd be willing to wait that long all over again.

I'm not into Nerf but you gotta admire the skill that goes into these designs.
:)
Crazy skills. Silly makes amazing stuff.

Where the heck can we get those attachments at the 7:08 mark?
Iirc they aren’t released yet, and it’s for the China spec SLAB.
I’ve been following Sillybutts’ designs for a while, such an amazing and thoughtful designer. I hope to see many years of designs in the future.
Is this a precursor to the Cynthia? Like a stroll down memory lane. All amazing creations. Thanks for putting all this out there for us.
Wanted to compile all the best bits, I plan to make a new version once I have a few more releases.
I didn't know you're adding MORE to the slab
Making me more excited to get my hands on a SLAB. Bought one from SFI in Zombie Strike colors. Lead times are long but I know it’ll be worth it!

@@SirBrass I waited 9 weeks. Still very much worth it.
5:22 boy I can’t stand Drac’s voice and demeanor. Fast forwarding through this part.
Now i´am waiting for an european seller or a chance to get a build blaster in germany.
BlasterTime and VikingFoamArms are both working on Metric SLABs.
@@Sillybutts There is nothing in their stores. I just looked.
@@Sillybutts is the metric version going to be called a SLAM?
@@sataki82 not for sale yet, they’re still working on it :)
