Seeing these cards brings me back to my teenage years collecting this series. Thanx for the stroll down memory lane. Definitely gonna buy myself a box or 2 in the future

94 masterpiece also my favorite set
I like the 92 masterpiece just based on I never saw this set as a kid. The 92 bring me back to my youth
I’ve been opening packs from this series and I freaking love them! Hopefully one day I can finish off my sets through some unopened boxes/packs

The sound of opening up a pack is pretty much as ASMR as you can get
I noticed that too, not what I was aiming for though. The packs are usually closer to the mic than I am, that's why the opening of the packs is so loud.
@@randomcollector2353 I was looking into buying a box so I can frame some of the holofoil ones, but who knows what I'll end up getting...I guess that's half the fun!

loked on ebay around 300+ a box, pretty high I had no idea, you made me pull my set and I am about 40 cards short of the signature series but have all the chase and the full regular set, awesome cards, I guess I will have to complete the sig set now thanks alot!
Glad I made you pull it out. I think single signature cards aren't too expensive compared to a box.
I'm 38 and just found my entire master set from 28 years today super stoked! Thinking about buying another box!

The gold and bronze variants of the Holofoils can only be found in Walmart and Jumbo pack boxes, not in the regular boxes.
I personally think the art by g & t Hildebrandt of 94 is the best of them all. The art is just stunning

I have a couple of big books full of comic cards I collected in the early mid 90s. This set was one of my favorites. I'd like to get back into collecting the new cards but there's no way with how expensive they are.
Yeah, it is a bit annoying that the current Upper Deck sets are so expensive to complete. They really know how to suck their customer base dry
Also my favorite set. Just found 15 unopened packs at a street fair for $10 each, when they are now going for about $20 each on eBay.
I think that's still to expensive, but I guess that's where the market is at right now.
That Iron Man signature series is worth money for sure. Nice video!

I remember the very first chase card I found back in the day was the Punisher Holofoil and the very last one I got to complete the set was Meanstreak, in which my best friend's littlle brother extorted me for a Powerblast to get it and it even had one bad corner. The one I had the most doubles of was Professor X in which there were like 8-9 of them.

Do you know which set had an individual black and gold box for every pack of cards?
I have a 1994 set including 9 of the 10 foil cards. I'm missing War Machine but I don't know how to tell if I have the bronze or gold ones. They look very similar in ebay listings. Any advice?
The Bronze Holofoils have a distinct red hue to them while the gold ones have a bright yellow hue. The images on tcdb.com are good for comparison.
Bold move rotating that Ravage 2099 by 190 degrees. Trying to maintenance that 10 degree offset from square sounds like a lot of work over time.
But anyway, fantastic box break. I really enjoyed your pacing on this one. Nice job on the chase cards as well. Very nice haul!

Sorry for the late reply, I missed your comments. A Base set should go for 40-50$, silver Holofoil set for 30-40$ and Powerblast set for 30-40$.
A full set of the gold signatures is hard to come by, I would guess something between 100-200$.
Any value in these cards today?
There is a bit of value, but the box was definitely more expensive than buying the sets on ebay.

Base cards are not very expensive, you can find most of them for less than a dollar.

To be honest the card shuffling in this series was extremely disappointing as I recall from years ago.
Yeah, I thinkputting duplicates in a pack is basically a crime against collectors.
