If you're only looking for chase cards, I think you can find them for reasonable prices on ebay. Since they are only X-Men 2099 characters and not very sought after..
Been really into Marvel lately. Weird how my brain at 37 yrs old craves this nostalgia. I’ve been lucky to find people on Facebook marketplace selling complete sets in my city, $30 high grade cards in binders.
Oh man... I definitely must've had a bunch of these when I was a kid. Came back to see if they were still around and found this video. They're expensive asf tho, but am definitely thinking about buying some.
I would say either the Marvel Universe or the Masterpieces sets from the early 90's, but I guess it depends on what you collected as a child. For me the '92 Masterpieces and the '92 Marvel Universe sets are the most iconic, even though they are not necessarily my favourites.
@@lepokebecois6689 My favorite sets are the '94 Marvel Masterpieces, '94 & '95 Fleer Ultra X-Men and the '95 Fleer Ultra Spider-Man sets. Sadly these boxes have become very expensive over the last year.
Hard to say. I'm not very familiar with prices on graded stuff. The only thing I know about breaking these is that they tend to be sticky. So grading the box might be the safer bet.
No, I don't, at least not at the moment. I live in germany and it would be too expensive to ship and to much of a hassle to deal with our customs agency.
I think single cards from this set are rather cheap, but I don't know for sure. Somebody said before that I sound like Arnie, It's pretty funny because I can't hear the similarity, lol.
I think the beast card is okay but the thing card certainly looks bad. Worst offender in this set though is the Punisher card by Mike Zeck. It just looks terrible and he has done far better work on the character.
Still the best box breaking channel on YT. Very immersive and relaxing watch.
This is my favorite set. Just amazing artwork.
Loved this set as a kid. Just now getting back into trying to complete my chase cards Awesome!

Impressive video. Hard to believe that box wasn’t opened since packaged in 1993. That box has been a time capsule for 30 years in 2023.
I think there are still a bunch of these around. They had a very high production run.

Just be careful, these tend to be sticky!
You should do a video showing all your cards from all your sets
I'm planning to, but it is going to take some time before I get to it.
Pretty cool
I just bought this box
A query what is the price of the complete collection?
Greetings from Peru
I would say a full base set with all 8 chase cards should be at 80-100$, but the best reference is probably ebay.
@@randomcollector2353 perfecto gracias por tú apreciación
Randomcolector23 so you more into collecting holograms than signature cards
Not sure how you came to this conclusion, but I wouldn't necessary say so, it depends on the set!
I just ordered a sealed box of these cards. Is there a way to separate sticky cards with little to no damage?
I'm sorry, but I don't know any way to separate sticky cards without damaging them.
My guess is that it just comes down to luck with these boxes.
I want to get into Marvel Comic trading cards for my childhood nostalgia. Which set ( most iconic) is the best to start with?

@@randomcollector2353 Not really collected any sets tbh. That is why I would want to start off with the right sets. Which would be your favorites?

Is it worth opening or is it worth getting them graded without opening the packs

Do you grade any of your cards?
No, I don't, at least not at the moment. I live in germany and it would be too expensive to ship and to much of a hassle to deal with our customs agency.
Is there a rare one that’s worth a lot?
By the way you sound like Arnold Schwarzenegger 😁

George Pérez should be embarrassed by his ugly art in this set. Two of the ugliest cards in Masterpieces history(Beast and Thing).
