Back in 1995 we budgeted $50k to prep our truck for each of 7 races in the SCORE season. Plus hotels and race weekend costs. We also had 4 full-time mechanics and fabricators on the payroll, plus 2 part time guys to look after all of the support vehicles and equipment.
I met his dad at the Riverside race. A very special family.
