Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another edition of that story, now told through music and with a message of hope. A beautiful hero that the world needs ❤️🐰🕳️

Ren gives us so much hope, I love how he is an advocate of us ALL that suffer w/an autoimmune disease. I myself suffer w/Ankylosing Spondylitis. it's such a rare disease in that it only effects only .9% of the population little is known and there is no cure
Ren got permission to sample the original, Vera Hall, recording, not Moby, and paid a fair bit to do so. He felt it was important to do so. It's one of his favourite songs and the line "Don't nobody know my troubles but god" really resonated with him, the first time he heard it. Even more so, after reading about her life. Considering the line he'd be using, he felt it even more important to sample the original, rather than sing it himself. :)

The music commentary is what I always look forward to hearing here. Nobody else focuses on the music production along with the empathetic reaction. There are so many layers to a Ren song that it takes an entire team to reveal the intricate goodness.

Vera Hall! I have M.E. and it's M.E month so i went "MISSING". I live in constant excruciating pain! It's what he had too. Sometimes the Lyme Disease won't show up. The antibodies won't show up. Its excruciating! I went "MISSING" and Ren told me I'm living under the floorboards. I struggle daily and Music is the "closest thing i have to God" i cut myself once on purpose too! It was on my leg tho. I only have hope and have a shri-- I mean wall dedicated to Ren. ❤😂

On Patreon Ren showed that the weird voice thing you mentioned that is a bit trippy drippy, is actually the sample run through a filter. So the sample is the hook and the music. ❤

Watching those videos leading up to this track hurt because Ren went (and is still going) through so much shit, but he is so strong. I loved this track and the text he added at the bottom of the video is such a powerful message. There is always hope, no matter how dark the clouds over our heads are. I admire him more and more wth each passing day and he is so incredible
After having listened to Ren's Chapter Series Intently and multiple times, this track just encapsulates his story so well and serves as musical accompaniment for The Chapters. Ren's experiences are very familiar to me to say the least, as is often the case with many of his supporters. Ren's success is so deserved and I do truly hope it continues. Ren is the medicine many of us need.

The part where you said you would think people have all together but theire hurting daily is such a true statement. I have a VERY hidden (hidden to the point of my mind hiding the disorder from myself) disorder that very few people know about. People who dont go through an issue that another person has dont truly understand what its like. They think its all fun and games (especially if the disorder is portaid as a "fun" disorder. Its not fun dealing with the issues that come with ANY disorder, disease, or syndrome. I have DID (dissociative identity disorder. Aka multiple personalities) my disorder is seen as "fun" in social media cause "its fun to be having many people in your head caught your never alone." Or "it would be fun to be on disability cause I wouldn't have to work" what people dont understand is each of these disorders, disabilities, syndromes or anything else have a price to pay that you cannot not pay. People need to see that the grass isnt always greener just because it looks greener from your point of view. It very well could be painted green but really be dying. Be grateful for what you do have and be kind to others. I absolutely love how ren is speaking up about this. He sees how much people struggle. He wants to be a person that does something about it.

Great song and I'm glad I watched the chapters leading up to this. Always fun to watch these with you because you point out things I didn't pick up. I can tell that when he was in The Big Push that they played with so much joy.... now we can see why.
