Water flows onto deck when fishing vessel towards Chittagong,Bangladesh due to waves and ships motions, rolling, pitching at rough sea weather condition.
@@outandabout3335 kind of you to ask after me, thank you! I am ok but it has been a difficult year so far. Such kindnesses as your enquiry are a much needed boost to morale. I hope life is smiling on you!
Last time I saw this much water on deck the hatch to our lazerette had failed (110' crab boat). By the time we got it resealed and the hydraulic pump started, our stern rail was the new waterline. A very nervous couple of hours before we got it under control. Down flooding is not your friend.
Hello Sea World, is it possible to contact you regarding this video (i.e. via email)? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible to discuss? :) Cheers, Felix
@@bmoney1488 Hard tow? Never worked a trawler/dragger but my seine boat rode just like this when we were plugged. Steel 58 foot seine boat and it rode super low anyway.
That's NOT A GOOD FEELING pard. Better hope all those deck hatches are closed, watertight and do their job when it gets like that!!! The scuppers aren't doing their job and she's got way too much weight to the rear of the fish hold
These fishermen earn bugger all. More necessity/desperation than greed. You are seeing this situation from a privileged Western perspective. These guys live their whole lives on the ragged edge. Give 'em some sea room.
NO MORE LONG LINES or NETS ! Individual catch 1-line 1-Person , TROLLS ARE A TROLLING , OH so let’s Catch everything Kill it then weed threw it separate what we meant to catch throw back all The Dead ones ? An old skipper once said to me, "There's no more efficient pump on the high seas than a frightened man with a bucket"
