Hi, I want to ask you how many mount I could do with this kit?

    • @VampyreX13

There should be enough to do a full set of engine mounts.

Hello, will this generate any vibration in my car?

Hey Derrick ! Weird question .. but would u sell your stock motor mount with the urethane in it ?

No, I'm holding onto that as a spare. I actually still need to install it and test it out. I wanted to give the bushing a few months before I swap them out... which is probably going to be this weekend.

I haven't installed it yet. I completely forgot about putting it in while I was working on the car this weekend. As for less vibration, you would just use a polyurethane with a lower shore value. This was the actual hardness I was looking for though.

@@VampyreX13 Think i would go with 80 bc theres already rubber in the mount which decreases the overall shore rating

اYou are probably riding a wooden carriage instead of a car! There is no vibration absorber and the rubber part will definitely be cut during frequent braking because the rubber base does not have an integrated structure! Of course, with respect

I don't have any added vibrations from filling this non-weight bearing bushing, and it's still holding up strong after 4 years.

It is surprising to me, because these bushings must withstand both vertical force and vibration, and control the traction force, for example, when braking, to prevent the engine from throwing forward? I agree with the use of a liquid that has the full elasticity of the rubber after it hardens in the bush, rather than putting two solid cooked pieces that do not stick to the rubber bush? If I am wrong, please correct me!

Vibration? hell a lot. I did this on my Elantra 2008 and it was the biggest mistake I ever done. I had to replace them again for stupid. Well, at least I know what mean to be stupid.

    • @VampyreX13
      @VampyreX13  Рік тому

I didn't fill any of the engine mounts that support the engine, just the one that helps keep it from moving back and forth when you accelerate. That's why you've got so much excess vibration.

  • @irisbaez1972

PLEASE, WHO EVER READ MY COMMENT: DO NOT MAKE THIS STUPIDITY.
