That's actually really sad. He really liked that car :( Dacias are no Lamborghini, but for what they are- economical everyday car- they are really nice. I drove quite a bit of Dacias and they are very nice little cars, and Sandero is great affordable Hatch. I feel sorry for James and that Sandero.

Economy is so different it is killing the Western European one, huge flows of money go directly to the East while even more money is wasted on unemployment of Western people who became too expensive since the expansion of the EU towards the East, cultural and social differences cause a big divide, training standards for many things including truck driving are significantly lower... If the EU was a private company, the ones in charge for accepting Poland/Czechoslovakia/Romania/... would long be sacked and sued for wrongful and incapable management. The only reason those countries applied for entering the EU was to better themselves on subsidiaries and export workers after officially breaking free from communism, not to add any true value to the EU. You can scream and cry bigotry and discrimination all you want, but the facts are the facts.

I have a Dacia mcv, (300000 kms, seats 7, about 5l/100km @ 90 km/h.) A real sports car, takes the kids to the riding club, the beach, football practice, surfing, canoeing, pulls our 22 foot sailboat up the ramp, it's beat up and dented, lined with sand, straw and dry mud , has endured mountains in winter, deserts in summer and runs like day one... Like I said.. A real sports car. Also you can maintain it yourself.... No fancy electronics. No frills and bs.
I am so glad that Richard and James have said they won't do a new TopGear without Clarkson. It either means the BBC go back on what they have said or it goes to another next work as all of their contracts end early next month. Give it 6-12months and TopGear will be back better than every!!!
