What a shocker! I was expecting the pen to be a bummer but as soon as the nib hit the paper, my eyes nearly came out in stalks. Also, the nib showed that unusual color of ink quite perfectly! If it were me, I'd find a single cheap pen case and carry it around with me. Great video, Vincenzo. Regards, Mike.
This is a very interesting video. Just goes to show, we don't have to always see expensive pens; to be entertained and informed. And, I enjoyed the comments, ' eyes out on stalks.' One of my favorite; and accurate; descriptions.
The dates on the piston knob are for the birth of Enzo Ferrari (February 18, 1898) and his first Grand Prix title (June 17, 1923) in Ravenna driving an Alfa Romeo. In general I don't like MB's limited designs, they are extremely loaded, heavy and in some cases could be treated as possible lethal weapons 😂🤣I like copies even less; but from what I can see it writes very well, which is what is important in a writing instrument. Greetings from Argentina
Hi Vincenzo! Wow! I bet it's kind of hard trying to not promote a fake, but when it writes like that one did. . .Makes one wonder! The unboxing part was the most interesting. Was reminiscent of my trying to get my Majohn V-60 out of the wrap!!
Your reaction once you wrote with the pen is exactly what I thought it would be. Too bad the Chinese don't put their fake nibs in their non-fake pens...
I’ve been using those inks for while now and ordered more and they’re all very nice. I will be doing a review of the more recent purchases in my next weekly recap.
This is not an homage. This is a fake that's trying its hardest to appear as the real deal. I'm okay with clones as long as it's clear what I'm looking at, especially if the patent has been in the public domain, e.g. Pilot VP > Moonman/Majohn A1, A2 and there's some branding to distinguish the products from each other. So, that's a hard pass for me. The ink is pretty.
I don't think it's made by Win Sung, just some of the many obscure dealers on A-L-I making something up which they believe will be helpful in selling. Another copy of a MB. as long as it writes well and the the functionality keeps up, the coloring and plating's don't vanish, it's OK with me. But honestly the price is way too high, many of the MB copies are trading for 18 to 20 dollars, but maybe a fast and powerful Ferrari drove the price up?
@@JZYang-d5e Lemon recently came very close to a complete copy with its M6, the petit prince imitation, only that they implemented a 5 pointed snowflake on the caps top, instead of the original 6 pointed MB Loge. Greetings from Australia. I think you paid over $75 for this pen. The nib does write well but I think I'd prefer a good quality Hong dian, something like a D5. (Innovative) I found this pen myself on AliExpress ranging from $24 - $65.
Honestly, I thought I was buying a Wingsong imitation of something as they have done in the past. But you’re absolutely right and saying that it’s overpriced but the nib was a big surprise.
@@fountainpentherapy I was thinking that if the body of the pen wasn’t one’s ‘style’ whether the nib itself would work in another pen body. Just a thought. Thanks

It was that nib that convinced me to do a video on it

Great, entertaining and useful video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks Vicenzo!
Great video
You are the best
You are the best
This is actually exciting! Watching a video without having a clue about content is... refreshing? 😅

I was surprised at how nice the pen actually wrote.
Now you need to get the Montblanc to make a direct comparison. It's only $1300. 😂
Lol
Thanks, Vincenzo. Curious, to know if the nib is actually steel or gold.
The nib is definitely steel, but I must say really really juicy wet and constant
Your reaction once you wrote with the pen is exactly what I thought it would be.

I never thought about it that way, but you’re absolutely right LOL
By the way, what do you think about Hongdian inks?

It's not a Ferrari, but the nib is a bit of a beast.
@@fountainpentherapy I'm sure, you'll control that beast...
totally agree. WINGSUNG, with it's AFFILIATION to HERO, wouldn't do such stupid implementation of MontBlanc logo to their products.

Can't say that pen wasn't well protected against damage from shipping. 😀
LOL

Hi Vincenzo - Wondering if the nib is replaceable? Thanks for the mini review.
I’m not sure you can replace the nib but frankly that nib is the best part of that pen

NOT a clone or "homage" : it's a FAKE... not good not good at all. 😑
Funny if it was a real Montblanc nib, LOL! The pen looks awkward.
Unfortunately, the pen is a little clunky
A piece of phoney crap that I wouldn’t waste my time on. No, thanks.
