Great demo. You've done a great job of showing off a pallette of tones in a short period. Buying one right now. I wish more reviewers took this approach instead of the usual 15 minutes of talk and just cut straight to the meat.
I run a clean boost when I put the distortion to the max, gets a bit clearer, the boost being another behringer pedal, the sf300 on the boost setting, I also use the behringer HB wah on boost setting to get a Burton like tone.
@@loqasfvk Yes it does work great for its price, I use it a year and a half mostly as a DIbox plus a bit of tube simulation. Unlikely you find something comparable for such money. Here is a comparison test with Sansamp Bass Driver which cost about ten times more: ua-cam.com/video/SD0CN4rs8p8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=GustavoGontijo
Personally I get a great Geddy tone by boosting the bass to max, completely cutting the treble, mids at around 9 o’clock. No drive. Also I use a Gibson t-bird
Man I envy you're owning of a Azure Blue Ric! Guessing it's a 1970s-ish model 4001? My band mate in 1973 owned one that was stolen (along with my Gibson SG Custom).. I've never really missed the SG but I PINE for that one bass.. especially the color! BTW: ..and that's even with me admitting that I used to own a 4003 "Midnight Blue" model ..but it just wasn't the same. :/
Can anyone tell me if this can be powered by phantom power through the XLR input? I know it requires nine volts (either through a power supply or a battery), but can it process the power through the XLR? I can't find any info that says one way or another.
DANG This is like the 3rd video I've watched about this pedal. And I'm the only 1 to get a piece of crap. Mine make noise through the D I into the P A. Can't use it for what it's really good for. Ooh well out of 150-175 Ebay-Reverb buys I'm not complaining about like 3 bad buys. And all of them has been stuff under $50.
@@Mr.Steve-O oh mate I fixed it (sorta) in the end but basically think my amp doesn't have enough on board eq, so I got a Behringer Equaliser that sorted it out! Hah
I recommend the Sonicake Boom Ave. higher price, but the preamp alone is worth it.Basically Sansamp clone. I upgraded, but before that I added a Tubescreamer as a clean mid boost.

1:18 bro this baseline is fire 🔥
fire by Jimi Hendrix
Love those bass lines man and great skills. Loving the sound of the DI too. Cheers my dude.
Sweet bass. I just bought the pedal. Shocked at what it does for the price. Gets pretty muddy when you really up the drive.

Dude, the Flux Capacitor shirt won me over in the first second!! great Demo and great chops! Congratulations!!
This is what I needed to see, I am buying one
I just got one.
@@bradowens4052 so how it feels? Is it worth?

That is exactly what i thought to myself after a while, and exactly then i saw your comment. Haha
That's a great no-nonsense review 👌
It's helpful, but I would like parametric mid band, as in the acoustic guitar pre amp. So I have to add a little equalizer.
Thank you so much making this with all that effort for such cheap box. Great job
What strings are those? Very cool. Gauge?
I wonder how this work for a di for guitar at the end of chain. I play through a bass amp for electric generally. I’d like to have the xlr out…
Great video and impressive skills! Would you say this is a good budget replacement for a Tech 21 VT bass pedal?
yes, that's exactly the best optiom for this price! thanks a lot for your comment!
@@Sumergidos That's what I wanted to hear, thank you :)
@@dangerbarry watch the Beringer vs Sans amp comparison video, you can't tell the difference, only the price.
Cheers, I already did and bought one a few months ago. I got it for under £25 delivered and it's always on!
Cool demo !! Buying one of these this week
Nice Ric,hearing that a ric sound good thru that peddle is an accomplishment on it's own,lol any bass I got will definitely sound good🤘🤘🤘
For $29 this is a “no brainer”
I have also the acoustic guitar driver, what can also be applied to voices.
Great video and playing. What do you recommend the settings for Geddy.Lee tone ?
Personally I get a great Geddy tone by boosting the bass to max, completely cutting the treble, mids at around 9 o’clock. No drive. Also I use a Gibson t-bird
Nice! I like the last sound (solo). I did a video on this pedal too
How you do to make the video pick up the bass sound?

it's not an original Rick!
Definitely a Ric clone, that neck pickup is a mini-humbucker with a toaster style cover rather than an actual toaster pickup. Great sound though!
It is a Chickenbacker
It looks similar to my rick copy 2009 Rockinbetter bass - my white binding on the body has discoloured like yours too. :-)
Is It a chinese Rickenbacker clone?
I have question bro...
Its really the tone from behringer bass BDi21..????
of course...man
Damn good review, love it 😃🤗👍❤️
Can I use it with Boss GT1-B?

no man, it requires a separate power supply or 9v. its more of a pedal rather than a DI box unfortunately.
I usually leave everything at noon on mine and adjust the level accordingly.
Great playing friend
wouldn't part with mine, crucial to my setup this pedal is, glad i got mine before they shot up in price.
Quantos presetes de fábrica ele tem?
Is this direct or thru a bass amp?
Direct
Fantastic
Good demo

Por si no lo sabían es la clonación del Sansamp...
Can anyone help me.can i play this with my geb 7 eq
Yes
Well mine just arrived, it does not sound a thing like this..
