Wow, outstanding! There is a reason why you don't hear Beach Boys songs covered very often much less covered well. Brian Wilson wrote those songs for a harmony unique to the members of the band and their voices. Such wonderful young talent on display here. Bravo!
I discovered this Rock school3 days ago I don't think I've ever seen A group of children singing together That's anymore coordinated and precisioned!! This is fantastically done and I gotta tell you all This is better than the original No question I like the beach boys always will The beach boys should be proud of these kids This is magnanimous this is excellent I am so proud To see these these young people Working in this capacity to learn something that they will be able to bless Thousands of people going forward into their futures they Themselves will be blessed greatly!! Can I have to say it again these tracks that you Have done here? Is far superior and better than the original recordings! Please keep up the good work And don't let evil enter in Anywhere God's great blessings upon you all peace always and Jesus name! Your new fan Rev red rob curry
@MrTurkeybreath Yeah, me too. Want to hear someone who is going places? They sing Elton John, Goodbye Yellow Brick Rd......at the half way mark a girl in black sings. She is unreal !!!
"Pocket symphony" was Brian Wilson's own description. Dating from the "Pet Sounds" sessions, it was to be the centerpiece of the follow-up, "Smile", which was never released. Covers were even printed. It was the most expensive single ever recorded, up to that time. "The Pet Sounds Sessions" box has preserved takes, where you hear Wilson constructing the song. He is in total control.
@@davccouceiro The original album was scheduled to be released in early 1967; the project was abandoned, largely due to Brian Wilson's deteriorating mental state. It has since been reconstructed, but the album in its original form at the time doesn't exist. Which is what I meant.
Wow these kids are spot on!!! Well done ladies and gentlemen , I really thought I was listening to the real beach boys.. the only thing I thought was missing was the " good good good vibrations " Carl Wilson, when the young singer transferred from Brian Wilson to Mike Love
Awesome job! A+ all the way around. The drums, especially during the choruses, are not played as in the original Beach Boys song. This drummer takes a different approach. I'm not sure if he's aware of it. In any event, IT WORKS. It still goes with the song, but it's technically not faithful to the original. So, no harm, no foul. Great job, everyone.
So VERY well done, great performance as seems usual, may I be so bold as to suggest that at about 2.40 the BBs put a whole LOT of base in and it really rattles my windows! Hope you don't mind my comment, but so very well done as usual Folks. Love this
I miss a little energy from the players, dont take me wrong, its a very difficult song to play on every part and it demands a lot of focus, but i feel like everyone is too serious for this joyfull song. Also, the theremin could be way louder.

The lead vocal is off the charts brilliant. Damn!!

I've heard three different mixes, not counting the demo version.
smile was released in 2011

Pretty great!!!!
Singer has very nice voice. Drummer rocks.
The lead singer is the closest thing to Carl Wilson.
Awesome job! A+ all the way around.

I was hoping for some theremin but regardless of the absence this was fantastic!

Why not take a tour?
They sing much better than others.
They sing it better than Wilson Phillips too.
As good as the originals BB's

Given the history of the recording of this song, it's impossible to recreate how serious they were at the time
Hehe. Good Vibrations seemed to give them a bit of trouble. Still great, considering how revolutionary the song was/is
Finally, a male vocalist! Nice job, but you guys changed the vocal arrangement towards the end. A couple parts missing.
Nice. Los Rios just needs a bit of groove work - bass and drums and organ should be in sync. It's easy.
The drummer actually resembles a young Dennis.
He could get a job tomorrow IMHO. His arms are one with the sticks...it's like he has been drumming since he was a toddler
