Oh, this message blessed me SO MUCH, pastor James. I have always used the KJV but it’s amazing just how many people are committed to these other versions. If those versions are removing THE most imperative lesson in that paragraph, then it’s useless. THANK YOU so very much. I actually went through those examples that you listed and you are absolutely correct. This is EXTREMELY important. God bless you, pastor James. I’m so grateful to God for leading me to you 11 yrs ago.🤗

This is an outstanding presentation. I have always believed the the King James is perfect, and I have known for decades that all English translations after it are corrupt. I have known about a lot of the verses that are seriously altered or missing. But this speaker has shown some more errors. Above all, the whole message is superbly put together and presented.
    Well done!

THANK YOU PASTOR KNOX!! for this study.
I have used the NKJV, NIV and NLT versions.
I was SHOCKED that the NIV skipped right over verse 37 in ACTS 8!!! On the Trinity, the New Living version shows First John 5:7-8 as "the Spirit, the water, and the blood---and all three agree!!!! NOT ARE ONE ...& what is the water????
I am SO disillusioned!! I had no idea!. No wonder I was SO doubtful & questioning my Salvation. Even the New King James version has omissions!! I'm going online to look for a larger print KING JAMES version today. Thank You Pastor!!

I used to work at a Christian bookstore here in Oregon and I came to realize having so many versions was confusion and God is not like that. Around 8 years ago. I nowadays attend Victory Baptist in Bend Oregon and it has been a huge blessing and my mom comes too. Praise the Lord :)

Is it not true that Dr. James R. White through his epic work “The King James Only Controversy” has once and for all “put to silence the ignorance” of this nonsensical and untenable position posited by this pastor and others of his “King James Only” fanatical ilk?
For none of these “King James Only” stalwarts can logically and factually and systematically; with any success, refute any of Dr. White’s clear, compelling and convincing scholarly argumentations found within his “masterful book.”
The above statement is borne out by the sobering reality that none of these bellicose “King James Only” gurus will debate their fantastical and unorthodox “AV 1611 Only” flimsy and cult-like position with Dr. White, ¿no?

In Luke 2:33, the Catholic NAB Bible says, “the child’s father and mother”. A claim that Jesus Christ had an earthly father. This is why it is so important to use the King James Bible. I spotted another mistranslation a couple of days ago. A friend keeps sending me "devotions" that he copies from someplace. They use corrupt translations. The last one changed "The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1:14) to "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling with us" - I might have a word wrong there, but who cares?
That is not true. Jesus certainly dwelt with people, but he did not have or make a home. On the contrary, he said "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head." (Luke 9:58)
It is no good saying that "the Greek says". In any language, including Greek, there is a difference between the verb "dwelt" and the noun "dwelling", and they made up "and he made" out of thin air.
There is no end to the corruptions of the Word of God - until the Rapture. Thank God we have the error-free Bible in English.

Same reason it uses Elias for Elijah and Esias for Isaiah. It was common parlance. Judah became Judas, Joshua became Jesus, Simeon became Simon. Name spellings changed with Greek and Roman influence. The KJV accurately represents these changes in culture.

“And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.”

Jesus clarified to Mary in the very next verse in Luke 2v49 "And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?" Interesting that the KJB translators capitalized "Father" in v49 and kept Mary's reference to Joseph as lowercase "father".

    • @chadrussell3595
      @chadrussell3595 2 роки тому

@@gmarkdesign if that is the case than the new versions are stating the same. Mary stated that Joseph was Jesus father as if it was common for her to do so. Jesus does kind of the same with Mary as he told John that she was his Mother, and we know she was not.

Young woman - NRSV, NET, NABRE, RSV
If you are going to make a statement, make it an accurate one. Why would I believe anything you say about this topic when in the first 5 minutes you can be easily proven in error.
People no longer speak 1611 English. It was a translation for the common people.
Why was it revised in 1628, 1638, 1760 and 1769?
If the 1611 was pure, why did it originally have the Apocrypha? Why did it take until 1885 to remove it? It took 274 years for them to figure out their pure Bible wasn’t pure? Yet it’s pure and perfect? Which is it, you can’t have it both ways.
    Wake up.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I decided to respond so you did not think we ignore contrary comments. However we will not debate with believers and non believers online. We are supposed to be above that as believers. We are not going to debate doctrine as the political and sports pundit’s debate on who has the best team, or who is the best candidate.
We are absolutely firm on our belief that the King James Bible is the perfect word of God for the English speaking people. We believe God preserved the word in English in the King James Bible.
We have no faith in King James, we have no faith in the translators. We have no faith in the penmen of the scriptures. Matthew, Mark, Paul, Moses were men. Which means they are sinners and capable of errors just like you and like me.
However God said his words are pure words. Psalm 12:6-7 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. [7] Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Two points: first God said his words ARE pure. Not were but; Are pure. Present day and not past tense. Secondly v7 says Thou shalt keep them, O Lord. Who will keep his word? The Lord. Not a translator, not King James; The Lord will keep his word.
So you tell us where is God’s pure word? What version is it found in? My guess is you do not believe there is a perfect translation? I do not know you, and am basing my statement using the many conversations I have had when discussing God’s perfect word.
Before we get too far down this road; of the most accurate Bible version. More important is to confirm you are trusting the gospel of Jesus Christ for the salvation of your soul?
Do you know what the gospel is? According to the scripture? What we believe is if you have and read daily the “perfect” Bible and have not believed the gospel you do NOT have eternal life. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
If you have and read, studied and memorized every version printed to date and do not trust the gospel you do NOT have eternal life.
Do you know what the gospel is; according the scripture? As it will not matter in eternity if you were right or wrong on this subject. When you step out into eternity it will matter first and foremost what you did with the gospel message.
Back to your comments. You make many familiar talking points in your comment that we will not answer in this forum. BUT know we can answer them; we have the answers. We have been asked your questions thousands of times in 30+ years of teaching on this topic.
We can answer each of your points. But it is not something that can be answered in a post, or in a 1 hour sermon. If we gave you 20 good points it’s likely you would just raise more issues. It would be never ending. Or that is how it typically goes.
It would take many hours of studying the entire subject. We have studied it and we have put together a course on the King James Bible and the course covers the manuscripts the other translations, the translators, the Apocrypha that is a semester long. And that doesn’t cover it all. When I attended the Bible School at BBC these were 3 hour classes for 3+ months. Again that was just scratching the surface. So we can not answer you in a post if we wanted to.
If you are interested in learning more on the subject I would be glad to see if we can get you more information or possibly see if you could attend a correspondence course. In person classes are free. Correspondence courses are not, but I would would personally pay for your correspondence course if we can coordinate this. As I do not want you to think we are trying to drum up business.
What we are teaching people to do is to trust God’s word. What you are doing is casting doubt on God’s word. Intentionally; probably not. I would have you consider who it was that first cast doubt on what God said. Who first cast doubt on God’s word?
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, HATH GOD SAID, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
The serpent within the first 3 chapters of the Bible questioned God’s word.
God gave clear instruction to Adam. The serpent questioned what God said, Eve trusted the serpent. The serpent twisted what God said. He cast doubt on God’s word. This attack on Gods word started in Genesis 3 and has continued until this day and will continue until he returns. Why, because if the serpent can cause doubt on God’s word then less people will trust it for the salvation of their soul. Less people will trust it for how to live a Godly life.
As I mentioned early we are not going to debate you on UA-cam. You are free to believe what you want. We are simply teaching on our channel what we believe, which is our right. If you want to go back and forth we will simply delete the post.
We have a non-monetized UA-cam channel to be a help, not to strive with other believers and lost people. If this channel is not a help, you do not have to watch. It is our hope that you will stick around learn as we try to honor Jesus Christ and his word. In addition I am personally experienced in the topic of questioning God’s word. For 8+ years I used many different versions of the Bible. Then when I took the time and I studied the topic it did not take long to learn I was subtly deceived. Just like Gen 3 CJ

I pastor a church and share the gospel as often as I can. The fact that you won’t respond to being shown a false statement was made is truly sad. It wasn’t a hard question to answer. I feel sorry for you that you are so blinded by this stuff that when someone points out an error to you, instead of answering you deflect it back on the person pointing out the error, accusing them of wrongdoing, ignorance or blindness. From the Preface of the 1611….Now to the later we answere; that wee doe not deny, nay wee affirme and avow, that the very meanest translation of the Bible in English, set foorth by men of our profession (for wee have seene none of theirs of the whole Bible as yet) containeth the word of God, nay, is the word of God. As the Kings Speech which hee uttered in Parliament, being translated into French, Dutch, Italian and Latine, is still the Kings Speech, though it be not interpreted by every Translator with the like grace, nor peradventure so fitly for phrase, nor so expresly for sence, every where. For it is confessed, that things are to take their denomination of the greater part; and a naturall man could say, Verùm ubi multa nitent in carmine, non ego paucis offendor maculis, &c. A man may be counted a vertuous man, though hee have made many slips in his life, (els, there were none vertuous, for in many things we offend all) also a comely man and lovely, though hee have some warts upon his hand, yea, not onely freakles upon his face, but all skarres. No cause therefore why the word translated should bee denied to be the word, or forbidden to be currant, notwithstanding that some imperfections and blemishes may be noted in the setting foorth of it

I’m sure I am not the first person to ponder this but back in the day they kept Bibles chained to the pulpit so no one could read them at home and then the Bible was translated and now we have the king James version and now the Protestant scholars, so-called are saying that without them, we can’t understand it because they know the Hebrew and Greek better than anyone and so they have a better translation for each verse and they have new translations of the Bible, which is all False. Think about it, the Protestant and Catholic groups have been trying to keep the Bible away from people for thousands of years and now they’re trying to redirect people to so-called new versions which are simply corrupt versions.

    Ephesians 1:7:
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭ESV‬‬
If the new versions were aiming too take the blood out of the Bible they did a poor job at it.
