I haven't been able to find even pictures of another of these in RAW... and raw aluminum seems to be very rare in keyboards in general. I'm really falling for it partly because it is so unique. Any update on how the finish is aging/oxidizing after a couple of weeks?
hi there! Yea, i think they're pretty rare because people probably like the finishing more, but there's a nice appeal to this. As I also mentioned though, they're smudge magnets, but no oxidization so far - just don't use any harsh cleaning solutions on them!
Of course! I've recently put the metal keycaps on it, and it's still smudgy but once you have it plopped down at your desk, there's not much moving it around, and you wouldn't be touching all over it either. I will post a picture of the keyboard with the metal keycaps!
I love the magnetic mount because it's incredibly unique and it has a lot of mini flex all around...but aside from that, my 2nd fav is the spring mount from the Akko SPR series

I freaking goofed with my previous response, I had this board mixed up with the zoom65 when talking about the mounting styles...this one does not have the magnetic mount so if I confused you, I am terribly sorry. But yeah, I like the gasket jacket the most on this board because it had the softest flex and felt the best when typing. Totally my preference though.
I totally didn't realize that one of my clips show "proxy" on it 😅not sure how that happened tbh....i'm such a noob

What switches did u use?
@SBGOPS I used the aklo matcha green, which is a little more subdued for this kind of board but I was going for a certain sound profile with this one

much to pingy for me. love the idea of a metal chassis, but plastic sounds so much nicer to me.
Some modding would fix that pretty quickly but yeah it's got a flatter clack

does it have LEDs are they south facing?
No, none of the PCB versions for this board has LEDs, other than the ones that are put in as indicators for connections-mode.
no these versions don't - the only LEDs are the indicators showing active connection mode
