Oiltober Week 4 | Oil Painting Every Day Of The Month

- This challenge is inspired by inktober, but using oil paint only. I am not following a prompt, just painting whatever I feel like it. The goal is to create 31 new oil paintings in 31 days. This is my fourth week of the challenge and the oil paintings I created!
I am an artist residing in sunny, warm [humid] florida! My paintings are heavily inspired by nature and its beauty. I work primarily in oil paint, and sometimes watercolor. I prefer to work in a mostly realistic style and occasionally experiment outside of that. I post oil painting time lapses, painting lessons and tutorials, drawings, art tips, and occasionally artist vlogs where I share bits of my life as an artist. Creating art is my greatest passion and I'm thankful for the chance to share it with you. ♥

Lena Danya Love your work! I did Inktober 2019. Did it on the Paper app. on my iphone 6s. Nonstylus . Just drawing/painting with my index finger.
I finished all 31 days of Inktober, now I'm going to focus on a gourd still life in gouache and/or watercolor using my own photo reference.

All these paintings are so gorgeous
I wanted to thank you for all the paintings that you do. And also because you like plants so much I want to tell you of something that I read. One guy liked fruit trees so much that he started cutting and grafting branches together to make one big fruit tree. Over a long time he was able to grow 40 different fruits on one tree. I hear the the color changes with the season. I bet that would make a nice painting.
I remember reading a story about an elderly woman who lived to be 90 something and when they interviewed her, she said her biggest regret was that when she was 60 she thought she was too old to learn piano. And now that she was 90 she wishes she would have started at 60 because she would have been playing for 30 years. You're never too old. I didn't start hockey till I was like, 26 or 28, and I didn't pick up the guitar until I was 33. Good to see you gettin on the ice. When you're older and want to try something, do it. Amazing work btw.

Hi Lena! Thank you so much for all of the content that you post, it really brightens my day and I have learned so much from you. The mushroom that you painted is called Fly Agaric or Aminita Muscaria. It is poisonous if taken in large quantities and is known for its psychoactive properties. They are the prettiest of all fungi in my opinion. Anyways, keep up the positive vibes and great oil painting tips and techniques.

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing art! I absolutely loved this challenge, but because of my own life distractions/complications I wasn't able to paint along with you as I had hoped but I am looking forward to another challenge like this if you ever do one so I can share the experience. Or maybe I'll buckle down and do it on my own lol. But its always better to share along side people who have the same passions 😊

These are so satisfying to watch. Additionally, I love seeing you branch out into non-natural subjects and make lovely pieces right away 🤟🏻 would you ever consider doing an updated brushes video? I know they tend to be the most disposable art supply in oil painting but i think it would be helpful to know which brands and brush types you find most effective as of now. ✌🏻

Love your videos! I was wondering if you could make a video in which you discuss what made you want to be self employed? What was your very first year like? Did you struggle your first year and if so how did you overcome it? How did you manage your money? Do you think a business degree would have helped you? Yeah, the mushroom looks like one of the Ascomycota types. I think it is called Aminata something. Very poisonous, but one of the prettiest.

Every time you upload i just wanna start painting! i don't use oils as the drying time is quite intimidating to me so i stick to gouache and other random media

edit: i'm 20 but i'm on an adult figure skating team and it is so much fun! i've been skating for about 5 years but the whole seriousness of competitions wasn't for me so i switched and im having so much fun with it now while still improving:) what's your favorite jump?
I love how every artist in the universe are in love with amanita mushrooms but no one ever acknowledge how dangerous they are 😂 but I really love the blurry effect on the background of this one!

I am using mixed media and aquarel paper from canson 300 gsm. I don,t think strathmore is selling in the netherlands. I love oiltober. I wanna do a painting in oktober every Day for the whole mounth of oktober too. I found the oil strath more paper 400 series on amazone and its expensive. For 9x12 i pay 25,68 and for a 12x12 i pay 80, 38😭🥺😱i keep painting on my cartboard panels that i got free from work and that i cut up in the sizes i want and on my mixed media and aquarel paper 300 gsm from canason. I paint whit pebeo oil,acrylic and i wanna try there watercolours too. I love you,re oil paintings. 😊👍🏾🖐🏾👋🏾
