    Amazing job with so few colours. Good to watch the palette mixing going on and establishing main tone areas at the start.Thanks for sharing.

    I have NEVER seen someone use a canvas for a pallete. it seems like it would be the exact OPPOSITE of a good pallete material because it absorbs so much paint

    Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! How do you keep your colors from getting muddy? I can't seem to blend colors without dulling them. Any tips?

    Do you use several brushes or just wipe off paint with like a paper towel or something in between grabbing new colors?

      I used one brush for this. But normally use upto 6. A couple for light the the other couple for dark side.

      ok! so my problem is!.
      last month i started Digital Painting!.and i started with greyscale painting but i noticed that i wasn't good at putting values! like i used to put the same values for almost every colour(skin,clothes etc).and my painting started to look muddy!..i think digital painting and traditional are almost same it's just that medium is different!..so i'll be really glad if u make a tutorial like "Basics Of Painting"..."Fundamentels"....i think i'm really bad at the fundamentals now!!.it's hard for me to choose colours which suits well! so i'll be glad if u did that in future :)

    • @zinlimart
      @zinlimart  7 років тому +1

      Right, digital and traditional painting share same rule.
      To paint better in representational style, you should learn basic principle of DRAWING.
      I recommend you to study from my playlist, 'Portrait Drawing Classic' or other video lectures explain VALUE.

    Υour art reminds the art of David A. Leffel. Οf course I prefer yours. But I am not sure about ''the shapes''.It is closed to be more ''great illustration'' than good painting...I think. Anyway keep up the good work. I have already subscribed and liked! :)
