- Who is YOUR favorite Ninja Turtle?? Today we are taking a look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Raphael Ultimates Figure by Super7. This guy is from Wave 1 which included Baxter Stockman, Splinter and a Foot Soldier.

It's all about Donnie......from day ONE! Anybody who can use a 'stick' with as much effectiveness as the more deadly weapons of his brothers is NO joke! Plus, his smarts and inventions are what saved the day almost more times than be counted! (Almost the ultimate 'clutch player') AND, the real Donatello is NOT a nerd! He's an intellectual. In other words, like I tell people all the time "He is NOT like Steve Urkel. Donatello is actually a little closer to......TONY STARK by comparison!"

My wife and I bought Raph, Splinter and Stockman. We can't bring ourselves to open these. The boxes look so damn good.
I am always so hypnotized by the eyebrows. I don't think mine move at all. That turtle looks great too.

I also have this figure and the baxter stockman. I'm liking what super 7 has done with this TMNT line. Gives us the nostalgia of the OG playmates turtles with more articulation. oh and Raph is the GOAT turtle!
How do you like the Baxter fig??
@@LauraLegends I like it aesthetically and design. Also like that it comes with a mouser. Articulation can be better with the head but overall fig is amazing.

As a kid Leo was my favorite but the older I get the more I like Raphael with his temperament

You know, I've never been fond of Super7 figures, the MOTU, TMNT, whatever it is. I know they're trying to bring back the vintage vibe, but it's just not the same IMHO.
Also I'll be so sad not to see you at the Vancouver Comic/Toy show this month since it got cancelled 😭

Donatello would be my favorite because as a teenage my three friends and I played the TMNT Pen & Paper RPG by Palladium Books and since we didn’t have a fourth to play Donnie I as the GameMaster played him on the side while running the games story and direction.
It was fun. I used him as a tie in with splinter to guide the story when needed and in fights I would use him as a support character making sure I never hogged the glory from the other player’s. Eventually we found a fourth player ,but those early times where found memories which I will never forget. Definitely Good times. I highly recommend that RPG if you can find it. Thanks for the review. Awesome figure! Great content!

Nice memories, we costume my younger brother as Raphael when he was 6 years old and 24 years later I costume my son as Raphael also at 6 years old

I'm pleasantly surprised to see all the people saying Donatello is their favorite. He's mine too. Although, as a child, he was my second favorite after Michelangelo.
In the original 80s series I liked Raphael and his sarcasm the best. In the 2000s reboot my favorites were Casey Jones and once again, Raphael. Those were the only two Ninja Turtles series worth talking about.
Donatello was my fave, he was smart, humble, and purple is my fave color.
Raph was my fav as a young rebellious kid, but now the wise Leo is my favorite

I really liked the toy Nostalgia vibe of these Super 7 Turtles- Raphael is my favourite, but I can’t wait for them all! Bebop was my favourite 80s figure so excited to get him!

i just started getting into this tmnt collectible figures and i am so confused. it's a jungle with all different models, manufacturers etc. any tips for a beginner collector?
Good to see they got Shredder a back brace and he's standing straight now. The old toy made him look like he had some sort of spine curvature.......poor guy.

Definetly Michael Angelo. He captures the 80s Ninja Turtles' ethos perfectly--pizza, skateboarding, and ninjitsu.

@@LauraLegends for sure. One things for sure though is super 7 knocked it out of park. I'm a huge fan of neca figures and the neca tmnt are great but I have to say I think I like super 7s even more. I think one i want to see them make next though is for villains i would have to slash and for good guys I would have to say fugitoid or Mona Lisa or even ace duck.
Michelangelo because when i was a kid his appetite for pizza rivaled my own. He also read comic books and collected toys. I felt i had the most in common with him.

@@LauraLegends right? It's hard to buy into things you want (mainly the newer releases) when people out price things right out the gate. And somehow they are the ones who seem to get items before they instantly sell out. Like many of the gi joe classified target exclusives for example.

I just got this figure recently and I love it. It manages to be modern, and yet retro and throwback all at once. I did a retrospective video about a ton of the TMNT toys from over the years on my channel, “Which TMNT figures are the best,” feel free to check it out if you’re interested in various versions over the years.
As for my favorite turtle...it’s so hard to pick haha. But as a kid I was a Michelangelo guy, so that much probably still holds true. If I had to guess, about your bet - Leonardo is probably the lowest in terms of overall fan favorite haha.

It's definitely between Leo and Don, as a kid I think I preferred Leo since his role as leader reflected my personality. As I got older it became Donny since he tends to think things out, he's tech savvy, and nerdy. But I def favor them both

6:12 - The "hooky thingie" is a guisarme. (Whenever I see old-timey polearms, I'm reminded of the weapons rack in the Castle Greyskull which had a halbred and a fauchard which in turn makes me think of Guan Yu from _Sango Fighter_ .)

Great review. I picked up Raph and Baxter from wave 1. They didn't not disappoint at all. Even with all the NECA stuff there is still room for all this. I'm with you with the Triceriton all the way. I'd also like Wingnut and Screwloose. Good stuff to come. Love the chan!

Here's a tip for you if you find it hard to pop off a head. Get a blow dryer, and heat the head. It will soften the head making it easier to remove and or put in place.
It’s an amazing figure, I have all of wave one and the Thundercats wave one as well and there all great. And Raphael is my favorite from the cartoon and movie as well.
They hook it up with the accessories! So much tension with the heads being pulled off, lol...
